Integral and differential (with respect to the composition) isotherms of changes in the interfacial free energy (m– ), the charge density q, and the surface composition X Au of alloys equilibrated with an aqueous surface-inactive electrolyte are obtained in terms of a finite-thickness interfacial layer, with use of concentration dependences of activity coefficients of components of a polycrystalline binary alloy. Using ac measurements of the double-layer parameters, it is stated that the surface-active component in the Ag–Au|F, H2O and Ag–Au|ClO 4, H2O systems at 298 K is gold. The Ag–Au solid solution shows negative deviations from Raoult's law, except for the compositions X Au 0.04 and X Au 0.80, where the solid solution properties approach those of an ideal solution.  相似文献

The anodic formation of Ag(I) oxide nanofilms on polycrystalline silver and Ag–Au alloys as well as on low-index single crystals of silver in 0.1?М KOH was examined. By the methods of photocurrent i ph and photopotential E ph measurements, the n-type conductivity of Ag2O film was established. Since the film (6–120 nm) is thinner than the space charge region, the dependence of photocurrent and photopotential appears on the film thickness L: i ph ~L and E ph ~L 2. The transition from polycrystalline silver to single crystals as well as the addition of a small amount of gold (X Au?≤?4 at.%) into the silver lattice decreases the degree of deviation from the stoichiometric composition Ag2O. The parameters of Ag2O film (optical absorption coefficient α, donor defects concentration N D, space charge region W, and Debye’s length of screening L D) depend on the index of a crystal face of silver, volume concentration of gold X Au in the alloy, and film-formation potential E. At Е?=?0.52 V, the sequences of variation of these parameters correlate with the reticular density sequence. The growth of the potential disturbs these sequences. The band gap in Ag2O formed on Agpoly, Aghkl, and Ag–Au is 2.32, 2.23, and 2.19 eV. Flat band potential in Ag(I) oxide, formed on Agpoly in 0.5 M KOH is 0.37 V. The appearance of the clear dependence between the state of the oxide/metal interface and the structure-sensitive parameters of semiconductor Ag(I) oxide phase allows considering the anodic formation of Ag2O on Ag as a result of the primary direct electrochemical reaction, not of the precipitation from the near-electrode layer.  相似文献

Results are presented from theoretical studies and computer simulations of the resonant excitation of Langmuir waves during the ionization of a homogeneous gas by high-intensity laser radiation. Two mechanisms for the formation of nonuniform resonant structures in the discharge are examined: plasma-resonance ionization instability, resulting in the density modulation along the electric field vector, and gas breakdown in the field of a transversely inhomogeneous laser beam (a Bessel beam produced by an axicon lens). In both cases, the transition of the plasma density through the critical value is accompanied by the generation of intense Langmuir waves, the formation of fast ionization fronts, and the appearance of long-lived quasi-turbulent states.  相似文献

A new ("linear-parametric") mechanism of a direct conversion of an ultrashort laser pulse into terahertz radiation is suggested. The conversion is due to the ionization-induced excitation and the subsequent electromagnetic emission of the superluminous polarization wave created by the axicon-focused laser pulse. For a few-cycle pulse with an optimum carrier-envelope phase, the considered mechanism is found to be much more effective than the alternative one based on the excitation of plasma oscillations in the laser wakefield by the ponderomotive force and able to provide THz radiation of the gigawatt power level with the use of moderate optical intensity (approximately 10(14)-10(15) W/cm2).  相似文献

The aim of this study was to measure the shear modulus of the vocal fold in a human hemilarynx, such that the data can be related to direction of applied stress and anatomical context. Dynamic spring rate data were collected using a modified linear skin rheometer using human hemilarynges, and converted to estimated shear modulus via application of a simple shear model. The measurement probe was attached to the epithelial layer of the vocal fold cover using suction. A sinusoidal force of 3g was applied to the epithelium, and the resultant displacement logged at a rate of 1kHz. Force measurement accuracy was 20microg and position measurement accuracy was 4microm. The force was applied in a transverse direction at the midmembranous point between the vocal process and the anterior commissure. The shear modulus of the three female vocal folds ranged from 814 to 1232Pa. The shear modulus of the three male vocal folds ranged from 1021 to 1796Pa. These data demonstrate that it is possible to obtain estimates for the shear modulus of the vocal fold while preserving anatomical context. The modulus values reported here are higher than those reported using parallel plate rheometry. This is to be expected as the tissue is attached to surrounding structures, and is under natural tension.  相似文献

The 79,81Br NQR spectra of compounds of the Br(CH2) n COOH (n = 1-5) and Br(CH2) n COOSi·(CH3)3 (n = 1, 2, 4, 5) homologous series were measured at 77 K. The NQR frequencies of compounds of the first series as n increases to 3 and then oscillate. The 35Cl NQR frequencies of Cl(CH2) n Cl series molecules, estimated from the Cl3p populations resulting from RHF/6-31G(d) calculations, steadily decrease as n increases from 1 to 10. No oscillation of calculated 35Cl frequencies was revealed for compounds of the latter series (by contrast to experimental observations). The calculation results give no way to deducing the mechanism of the oscillation effect.  相似文献

Expressions are derived for the interaction matrices which describe the transformation of the Stokes parameters for backscattering of a plane quasimonochromatic electromagnetic wave by an arbitrary statistical object or by an isotropic object. By means of the matrices that have been found the determination of the mutual correlation of the orthogonal components of the scattered field must be considered in an arbitrarily chosen polarization basis for arbitrary elliptic polarization of the incident wave.
