A set of relativistic hydrodynamic equations is solved numerically on the basis of the flux-corrected SHASTA method for one-, two-, and three-dimensional geometries. The accuracy of the proposed method is demonstrated via a comparison with exact analytic solutions for the one-dimensional Riemann problem and a boost-invariant longitudinal expansion in the Bjorken model. The example of an expanding three-dimensional fireball for which initial conditions approximately correspond to PbPb collisions at an energy of about 160 GeV per nucleon is considered. This example indicates that the presumed dynamics of the expansion may affect substantially the results of an analysis of in-medium properties of hadrons that relies on data from experiments with leptons.  相似文献

Cycloadducts of hexafluorothioacetone (HFTA) were prepared in high yield by a CsF catalyzed reaction between readily available 2,2,4,4-tetrakis-(trifluoromethyl)-1,3-dithietane (as a source of HFTA) with conjugated electron-rich hydrocarbon dienes, such as cyclopentadiene, 2,3-dimethylbuta-1,3-diene, cyclohexa-1,3-diene or (1Z,3Z)-cyclohepta-1,3-diene. Cyclohexa-1,4- and (1Z,5Z)-cycloocta-1,5-dienes, also undergo the reaction with in situ generated HFTA, but form the products of insertion of HFTA into the C-H bond of the diene as a result of ene-reaction. The highly selective reaction of HFTA with (1Z,3Z,5Z)-cyclohepta-1,3,5-triene and (1Z,3Z,5Z,7Z)-cycloocta-1,3,5,7-tetraene leads to the formation of cycloadducts derived from exclusive addition of thioacetone to the corresponding bicyclic isomers—bicyclo[4.1.0]hepta-2,4-diene or bicyclo[4.2.0]octa-2,4,7-triene, respectively. The corresponding cycloadducts of HFTA with 2,3-dimethylbutadiene-1,3-cyclohexa-1,3-cyclohexa-1,4-dienes and (1Z,3Z,5Z)-cyclohepta-1,3,5-triene were also prepared by direct reaction of sulfur/hexafluoropropene/KF and the corresponding hydrocarbon substrate at 35-45 °C in DMF.  相似文献

A new stable sterically hindered o‐quinone annelated with a 1,2‐dithiete ring was prepared by using mild conditions. The skeleton of the compound comprises diolate and dithiolate functions that have the potential to bind metals leading to the corresponding complexes. The reactivity of this compound as a ligand with respect to both coordination sites was studied. Reactions with metals indicate that the o‐quinone function is reduced in the first stage to give semiquinonate and catecholate complexes. The dithiolate coordination site was involved in the reaction in a few cases only after diolate was bound. A trinuclear manganese complex with coordination on both sites was obtained and characterized by EPR spectroscopy. The electrochemical study of this quinone fused with dithiete is reported.  相似文献

The directionality of the hole-transfer processes between DNA backbone and base was investigated by using phosphorodithioate [P(S)=S] components. ESR spectroscopy in homogeneous frozen aqueous solutions and pulse radiolysis in aqueous solution at ambient temperature confirmed initial formation of G.+-P(S)=S. The ionization potential of G-P(S)=S was calculated to be slightly lower than that of guanine in 5′-dGMP. Subsequent thermally activated hole transfer from G.+ to P(S)=S led to dithiyl radical (P-2S.) formation on the μs timescale. In parallel, ESR spectroscopy, pulse radiolysis, and density functional theory (DFT) calculations confirmed P-2S. formation in an abasic phosphorodithioate model compound. ESR investigations at low temperatures and higher G-P(S)=S concentrations showed a bimolecular conversion of P-2S. to the σ2-σ*1-bonded dimer anion radical [-P-2S 2S-P-]G (150 K, DFT)=−7.2 kcal mol−1]. However, [-P-2S 2S-P-] formation was not observed by pulse radiolysis [ΔG° (298 K, DFT)=−1.4 kcal mol−1]. Neither P-2S. nor [-P-2S 2S-P-] oxidized guanine base; only base-to-backbone hole transfer occurs in phosphorodithioate.  相似文献

We consider two applications of the stochastic discrete particles method. The first one is concerned with the dispersion of a passive pollutant by a turbulent stream with a scale dependent diffusion coefficient. The second application deals with the problem of an oil spill spreading on the water surface described by transport–diffusion equation with a nonlinear diffusion coefficient. For the first problem we develop a discrete particles algorithm provided the diffusion coefficient obeys Richardson's "4/3" law and show good correspondence with the numerical and analytical results. The second problem is more involved and we develop a heuristic procedure based on the standard discrete particles random walk algorithm updating the dependence of each particle step variance on the dependent function. The obtained solution coincides well with analytical and direct one-dimensional finite-difference solutions both for instantaneous and continuous oil release.  相似文献
