Specific features of separate and joint mastication of natural and 1,4-cis-butadiene rubbers in the presence of dibenzoylaminodiphenyl disulfide

Variation of the molecular structure characteristics and properties of natural and 1,4-cis-polybutadiene rubbers (gel content, molecular weight, degree of branching of macromolecules, viscosity) in the course of their separate and joint mastication in the presence of dibenzoylaminodiphenyl sulfide as mastication accelerator or without it was studied.     

Novel chemical modifications at the 4-position of chromones. Synthesis and reactivity of 4H-chromene-4-spiro-5′-isoxazolines and related compounds

Reactions of chromones with dilithiooximes proceed via nucleophilic 1,2-addition to give, on acidification, 4H-chromene-4-spiro-5′-isoxazoline derivatives in high yields. On treatment with concentrated H₂SO₄ the isoxazoline ring of this novel spiroannulated heterocyclic system opens to give α,β-unsaturated oximes, which undergo nitrosation, bromination, and the Beckmann rearrangement to the corresponding spiroisoxazolines and α,β-unsaturated amides, respectively. The latter can be obtained directly by the Beckmann rearrangement of 4H-chromene-4-spiro-5′-isoxazolines.     

Thermal transformations in systems based on zeolites Y,X, and A containing zinc and sodium nitrates

Thermal transformations in systems formed by interaction of Zn and Na nitrates with Y, X, and A zeolites were studied by TG—DTA technique. Temperature regions of existence of adsorbed water, water of crystallization, and decomposition of NO₃ ^– anion were determined. These intervals depend on the composition, structure, method of preparation, and pre-treatment conditions of zeolite systems. The extent of NO₃ ^– decomposition depends not only on the zinc and sodium content but also on the presence of ammonia involved in NO₃ ^– reduction. The zeolite matrix strongly stabilizes the occluded NO₃ ^– anions. A portion of zinc oxide formed by zinc nitrate decomposition is probably localized inside the zeolite cavities as the [Zn—O—(ZnO) _n —Zn]²⁺ particles. The latter compensate charges of the isolated [AlO₄]^– tetrahedra.     

Synthesis and some properties of 6-di(tri)fluoromethyl-and 5-di(tri)fluoroacetyl-3-methyl-1-phenylpyrano[2,3-<Emphasis Type="Italic">c</Emphasis>]pyrazol-4(1<Emphasis Type="Italic">H</Emphasis>)-ones

Condensation of 4-acetyl-5-hydroxy-3-methyl-1-phenylpyrazole with R^FCO₂Et (R^F = CF₂H, CF₃) in the presence of LiH affords 4-di(tri)fluoroacetoacetyl-5-hydroxy-3-methyl-1-phenylpyrazoles from which 6-di(tri)fluoromethyl-and 5-di(tri)fluoroacetyl-3-methyl-1-phenylpyrano[2,3-c]pyrazol-4(1H)-ones were synthesized. The reactions of pyrano-pyrazoles with hydrazine hydrate, ethyl mercaptoacetate, or aromatic amines proceed at the C(6) atom with pyrone ring opening and formation of aminoenones, pyrazoles, or thiophenes with the 5-hydroxy-3-methyl-1-phenyl-4-pyrazolyl fragment. 2-Trif luoromethyl-4H-thiochromen-4-one and 2-trif luoromethyl-4H-thiochromene-4-thione: Synthesis and reactivities

2-Trifluoromethyl-4H-thiochromene-4-thione obtained from 2-trifluoromethyl-4H-thiochromen-4-one and P₂S₅ reacts with aromatic amines, hydrazine hydrate, phenylhydrazine, and hydroxylamine at the C(4) atom of the chromene ring to give the corresponding anils, azine, hydrazones, and oxime of thiochromone. 2-Trifluoromethyl-4H-thiochromen-4-one is oxidized by hydrogen peroxide in AcOH into 4-oxo-2-trifluoromethyl-4H-thiochromene 1,1-dioxide and reduced by NaBH₄ to 2-trifluoromethyl-4H-thiochromen-4-ol or cis-2-(trifluoromethyl)thiochroman-4-ol. When treated with hydrazine hydrate, thiochromen-4-one gives 3(5)-(2-mercaptophenyl)-5(3)-trifluoromethylpyrazole. Published in Russian in Izvestiya Akademii Nauk. Low-carbon structural steels are an extremely important material used widely in all industries, e.g., in the manufacture of industrial pipelines and equipment operating at elevated temperatures and pressures, in contact with chemically aggressive environments. In this work, we study nanoscale changes in the substructure of structural steels that result from operational wearing out.     

Banach limits: Invariance and functional characteristics

Banach limits invariant with respect to the Cesàro transform are studied. New functional characteristics of Banach limits are introduced and studied.
