Resonance Raman scattering (RS) spectra of a ZnCdSe/ZnSe sample containing a single quantum well and quantum well-based open nanowires were studied at T=300 K. The longitudinal optical (LO) phonons involved in the formation of the observed spectra of the quantum-well and nanowire regions differ noticeably in energy. The LO phonon energies in the structures under study were calculated taking into account the compositional effect (doping of Cd into ZnSe) and biaxial strain. When excited in the exciton resonance region, RS is shown to occur via free (extended) excitonic states with the involvement of LO phonons of the ZnCdSe strained layer with final wave vectors near the Brillouin zone center. When excited below the excitonic resonance in the ZnCdSe layer, resonance scattering via localized exciton states provides a noticeable contribution to the observed RS lines. Because of the finite size of a localized state, phonons with large wave vectors are involved in these scattering processes. The RS lines produced under excitation in the excitonic region of the thick barrier layers are due to scattering from the ZnSe barrier phonons.  相似文献

A study has been made of the effect of the additional generation of photoexcited electrons on the excitonic absorption and luminescence spectra of ultrapure GaAs samples at T=2 K. The observed increase in the absorption coefficient for the ground (n=1) excitonic state is shown to originate from the polariton character of the energy spectrum of this state and to be due to an increase of polariton damping. The increased damping observed under electron generation is caused by polariton scattering from hot electrons as the latter undergo thermalization. As a result, the polaritons are heated. A possibility to use exchange reaction of metal \-diketonates and the vapours of \-diketones for the separation of volatile \-diketonate complexes by the method of fractional sublimation has been studied. When a mixture of thenoyltrifluoroacetonates of95Zr–95Nb and Th–233Pa is treated with a carrier gas containing hexafluoroacetylacetone vapours, zirconium and thorium, unlike niobium and protactinium, form volatile hexafluoroacetyl-acetonates which sublimate quite completely at 115°C. Niobium and protactinium remain in the initial sample in the form of nonvolatile compounds.  相似文献

The possibility has been investigated of separating rare-earth fission fragment elements from106Ru and137Cs by high-temperature sublimation (950°C) of chlorides, with their subsequent gas adsorption separation in a quartz tube under a temperature gradient in a flow of the carrier-gas Ar+SOCl2. The temperature corresponding to the maxima of the element precipitation zones are: 630–660°C (144Ce), 770–780°C (0.7–6 μg140La+La), 920°C (1.5 mg Ce or La), 420–450°C (106Ru), 280–300°C (137Cs). The coefficients of element separation have been calculated. For the separation of indicator amounts of rare-earth elements and106Ru and137Cs, fractional sublimation of the chlorides of the latter at 650°C has been used. Rate constants and effective activation energies of the overall processes of chlorination-sublimation of the elements have been determined.  相似文献

A numerical investigation of the convective flow in the toroidal gap is presented. A new formulation of the incompressible Navier–Stokes equation in terms of an auxiliary field that differs from the velocity by a gauge transformation [Weinen and Liu in Commun Math Sci 1(2):317–332, 2003] has been used. The gauge freedom allows simple boundary conditions to be formulated for the auxiliary field, as well as the gauge field. The gauge field eliminates the pressure distribution in the Navier–Stokes equation. The influence of the geometric parameters and the Prandtl number is discussed.  相似文献

The low-temperature spectra of the exciton luminescence of the ZnCdSe/ZnSe quantum well grown in the [100] direction have been analyzed. It has been found that the observed radiation is linearly polarized in the well plane along either the [011] axis or the orthogonal $[0\bar 11]$ axis depending on the energy of exciting light. Polarization along the [011] axis is associated with the anisotropy of the geometric profiles of interfaces and corresponds to the polarization of excitons localized in the terraces elongated along the [011] axis, which are regions corresponding to an increase in the well thickness by a depth of one or several monolayers. The terraces appear due to the existence of growth steps on the interfaces. Anisotropy in the distribution of growth steps, i.e., a longer length of the steps along the [011] axis, is also responsible for the appearance of polarization along the $[0\bar 11]$ axis. Such a polarization appears due to the found specific channel of anisotropic exciton absorption. As a result of such absorption, free excitons with large wave vectors are excited. The excitation of excitons by light is indirect, because it involves additional processes of the elastic scattering of excitons on the interface growth steps. Prevailing scattering on an ensemble of longer growth steps (along the [011] axis) leads to the alignment of the wave vectors of excited excitons. A difference between the absorption probabilities for the polarizations of excitation along the [011] and $[0\bar 11]$ axes is caused by a difference between the probabilities of scattering on steps for excitons whose dipole moments and, correspondingly, the axes of the P-type wave functions for the holes involved in the process are oriented along and across the direction of the alignment of wave vectors of excitons.  相似文献

Low-temperature (T ~ 8 K) secondary emission spectra of open Zn0.87Cd0.13Se/ZnSe nanowires were studied comprehensively in the region of the ground excitonic state under tunable laser excitation. The spectra revealed a fine structure produced in the interaction of excitons with optical phonons. The observed resonance exciton-phonon (REP) lines are shown to be formed through two different mechanisms. The strongest component is due to Raman scattering via free excitonic states. The other REP lines are generated in the hot luminescence of localized excitons. The spectrum of the optical phonons involved in the formation of the REP lines in the biaxially strained Zn0.87Cd0.13Se/ZnSe structures was analyzed.  相似文献

Flame dynamics in wide tubes with ideally adiabatical and slip walls is studied by means of direct numerical simulations of the complete set of hydrodynamical equations including thermal conduction, fuel diffusion, viscosity, and chemical kinetics. Stability limits of curved stationary flames in wide tubes and the hydrodynamic instability of these flames (the secondary Darrieus-Landau instability) are investigated. The stability limits found in the present numerical simulations are in a very good agreement with the previous theoretical predictions. It is obtained that close to the stability limits the secondary Darrieus-Landau instability results in an extra cusp at the flame front. It is shown that the curved flames subject to the secondary Darrieus-Landau instability propagate with velocity considerably larger than the velocity of the stationary flames.  相似文献
