High power IR pumping beams self focusing and defocusing in NH3 Raman laser is investigated by numerical methods on the basis of the solution of nonlinear quasioptical equations. The analysis of self focusing have been done for a wide range of parameters of radiation and of active medium. Spatial evolution of the beam configuration have been investigated for different regimes of nonlinear diffraction. Developed model enables to allow exactly for the spectroscopic features of active molecules and may be applied to the analysis of the properties of powerful optically pumped FIR lasers.  相似文献

Conclusion The results of the investigation make it possible to draw a conclusion that the DFPI processes do not influence significantly the spectral composition and the energy values of the output FIR emission in a superradiant CH3F laser. They are determined in fact by the Raman processes. But anyway the DFPI processes are of great importance for the MIR emission generation and lead to the appearance of a large number of intensive MIR lines in the IR wavelength range.  相似文献

The six-level model using a density matrix approach to simulate properties of a gas resorant media in optically pumped FIR lasers was developed. The model accounts for multiphoton as well as parametric processes. Advantages of the developed model are demonstrated by calculation and discussion of the gain and saturated emission spectra of CH3F laser when transitions with different J rotational numbers of CH3F are pumped.  相似文献
