Self- and nitrogen-broadened absorptions of the oxygen A band have been measured using a long pathlength, multiple-traversal absorption cell. Comparison of measured band absorptions with values calculated from the line parameters determined by several investigators under high resolution shows that the line intensities and half-widths reported by Miller, Giver, and Boese provide the best agreement with our data. Atmospheric transmissions for the oxygen A, B, and γ bands have been evaluated by line-by-line integration for these line parameters.  相似文献

Objective: We explore the effects of body weight-supported (BWS) treadmill training, including the change of cortical activation, on a patient with post-stroke hemidystonia. Patient: The patient was a 71-year-old man with left thalamus hemorrhage. His motor symptoms indicated slight impairment. There was no overactive muscle contraction in the supine, sitting, or standing positions. During his gait, the right initial contact was the forefoot, and his right knee showed an extension thrust pattern. These symptoms suggested that he had post-stroke hemidystonia. Methods: The patient performed BWS treadmill training 14 times over 3 weeks. The effects of the BWS training were assessed by a step-length analysis, electromyography and functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI). Results: The patient''s nonparetic step length was extended significantly in the Inter-BWS (p<0.001) and Post-BWS (p=0.025) periods compared to the Pre-BWS session. The excessive muscle activity of the right gastrocnemius medialis in the swing phase was decreased at the Inter-BWS, Post-BWS, and follow-up compared to the Pre-BWS session. The peak timing difference of the bilateral tibialis anterior muscle became significant (p<0.05) on the first day of the intervention. The fMRI revealed that the cortical areas activated by the motor task converged through the intervention (p<0.05, family-wise error corrected). Conclusion: These results suggest that there was improvement of the patient''s symptoms of post-stroke hemidystonia due to changes in the brain activity during voluntary movement after BWS intervention. Body weight-supported treadmill training may thus be an effective treatment for patients with poststroke hemidystonia.  相似文献

Ultraviolet resonance Raman spectra of phytochrome in the red light-absorbing form (Pr) and the far-red light-absorbing form (Pfr) are reported. The spectra excited at 240-nm provide structural information about the protein part of phytochrome. The protein contains only a very small amount of β-sheet structure and most of the tyrosine side chains are located in hydrophobic environments. Indole rings of tryptophan (Trp) interact with neighboring groups in the Pr form and these interactions become weaker with the conversion from Pr to Pfr. Some Trp side chains of Pfr are surrounded by aliphatic groups but such is not the case in Pr. These changes in the environment occur at the same time as changes in orientation of Trp side chains. Our observations suggest that interactions between Trp residues and the tetrapyrrolic chromophore occur in the Pr form and that the strength of these interactions diminishes in the Pfr form.  相似文献

Two new intercalation compounds Fe0.90PS3(phen)0.41 (1) (phen stands for 1,10-phenanthroline including a part of 1, 10-phenanthroline H ) and Fe0.83PS3(bipy)0.34 (2) (bipy stands for 2,2'-bipyridine H ) were synthesized by the reaction of the layered FePS, with 1,10-phenanthroline or 2,2'-bipyridine in the presence of anilinium chloride. They were characterized by elemental analyses, powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), infrared spectroscopy. The lattice spacing of the intercalate was expanded by 0.90 nm for Fe0.90PS3(phen)0.41 and 0.57 nm for Fe0.83PS3(bipy)0.34 withrespect to the pristine FePS3, indicating that the ring plane of the guests is perpendicular to the layer of the host. The UV-vis absorption spectra of the filtrate in preparation of the intercalates indicate that 1, 10-phenanthroline or 2,2'-bipyridine also acts as a complexing agent to remove intralamellar Fe2 ions into the solution during intercalation. The magnetic properties of 1 and 2 were studied.  相似文献

A new intercalation compound, Fe0.85PS3(4,4′-bipyH)0.30 (4,4′-bipy = 4,4′-bipyridine), is obtained by the intercalation of 4,4′-bipyridine·2HCl with lamellar FePS3, which is characterized by elemental analysis, powder X-ray diffraction, infrared spectroscopy. By comparison with the pure FePS3, the lattice spacing of Fe0.85PS3(4,4′-bipyH)0.30 is expanded by ~ 5.7(A), indicating that the ring plane of the guest is perpendicular to the layer of the host. The magnetic property of Fe0.85PS3(4,4′-bipyH)0.30 is studied with SQUID. It exhibits an antiferromagnetic phase transition with TN of about 70 K.  相似文献
