In this article, systematic errors that arise from different implementations of digital image correlation (DIC) techniques are analyzed. In particular, we investigate the influence of the adopted correlation function, the interpolation order, the shape function and the subset size on the derived displacements. These errors are estimated using numerically deformed images that were obtained by imposing finite element (FE) displacement fields on an undeformed image yielding plastic deformation of the specimen. This FE procedure simulates realistic experimental heterogeneous deformations at various load steps. It is shown that DIC is able to reproduce these displacements up to a satisfactory level if conscious choices in the above-mentioned implementations are made.  相似文献

An amperometric sensor system, based on a repetitive double step potential method at a glassy carbon electrode, has been developed for the simultaneous measurement of hydrogen peroxide and oxygen concentrations. The current measured at a potential of –1 V (vs. Ag/AgCl/saturated Cl) corresponds to the sum of the reduction currents of hydrogen peroxide and dissolved oxygen. The current measured at –0.55 V (vs. Ag/AgCl/saturated Cl) is due to the reduction of dissolved oxygen to hydrogen peroxide. Alternatively, the concentration of dissolved oxygen can also be determined using a Clark electrode. The concentration of hydrogen peroxide and dissolved oxygen during enzymatic conversion of glucose can be followed on line and be used to control the process.  相似文献

This is a continuation of our earlier investigation (Gurtuet al 1974Phys. Lett. 50 B 391) on multiparticle production in proton-nucleus collisions based on an exposure of emulsion stack to 200 GeV/c beam at the NAL. It is found that the ratioR em = 〈n s〉/〈n ch〉, where 〈n ch〉 is the charged particle multiplicity in pp-collisions, increases slowly from about 1 at 10 GeV/c to 1·6 at 68 GeV/c and attains a constant value of 1·71 ± 0·04 in the region 200 to 8000 GeV/c. Furthermore,R em = 1·71 implies an effectiveA-dependence ofR A =A 0.18,i.e., a very weak dependence. Predictions ofR em on various models are discussed and compared with the emulsion data. Data seem to favour models of hadron-nucleon collisions in which production of particles takes place through adouble step mechanism,e.g., diffractive excitation, hydrodynamical and energy flux cascade as opposed to models which envisage instantaneous production.  相似文献

Achieving super-resolution has become a scientific imperative for remote imaging of objects and scenes needing increased detail and has motivated the development of various laser-based techniques. We demonstrate a scheme which achieves subdiffraction imaging of remote objects by using femtosecond laser filaments. The use of laser filaments for imaging is destined to have applications in many environments.  相似文献

The effects of substituent type and position on the proton transfer reaction of 3-hydroxytropolone(3-OHTRN) have been investigated theoretically by using density functional theory at the level of B3LYP/ 6-31+G** method. The influence of solvent on the proton transfer reactions of substituted 3-OHTRN has been examined using the self-consistent isodensity polarized continuum model(SCI-PCM) in water. As a result, while the proton transfer reaction is kinetically the easiest by substitution on position 3 of-NH2 group in the gas phase, it is kinetically the easiest by substitution on position 5 of the same group in water. In addition, these reactions are either kinetically or thermodynamically easier in the gas phase than that in water, except the reaction of structure with-NH2 group at position 6.  相似文献

We present an experimental study of the effects of oxidation on the magnetic and crystal structures of exchange biased epsilon-Co/CoO core-shell nanoparticles. Transmission electron microscopy measurements reveal that oxidation creates a Co-CoO interface which is highly directional and epitaxial in quality. Neutron diffraction measurements find that below a Néel temperature TN of approximately 235 K the magnetization of the CoO shell is modulated by two wave vectors, q1=(1/2 1/2 1/2)2pi/a and q2=(100)2pi/a. Oxidation affects the q1 component of the magnetization very little, but hugely enhances the q2 component, resulting in the magnetic decompensation of the core-shell interface. We propose that the large exchange bias effect results from the highly ordered interface between the Co core and CoO shell, and from enhanced core-shell coupling by the uncompensated interface moment.  相似文献

Background  

The Toc159 family of proteins serve as receptors for chloroplast-destined preproteins. They directly bind to transit peptides, and exhibit preprotein substrate selectivity conferred by an unknown mechanism. The Toc159 receptors each include three domains: C-terminal membrane, central GTPase, and N-terminal acidic (A-) domains. Although the function(s) of the A-domain remains largely unknown, the amino acid sequences are most variable within these domains, suggesting they may contribute to the functional specificity of the receptors.  相似文献
