The p-4He elastic differential cross section has been measured at a kinetic energy of 2.68 GeV. The momentum transfer region studied is t = 0.15–0.66 (GeV/c)2. The cross section displays a shallow first minimum and shape very similar to recent data at 1 GeV. 相似文献

The total reaction cross section for 16O + 16O has been measured at six energies between Ec.m. = 6.8 and 11.9 MeV. Cross sections for the production of protons, alphas, neutrons, deuterons, 31S, 30P, 12C(g.s.) + 20Ne(g.s.) and the relative γ-yield were obtained with a variety of experimental methods. No 3H or 3He were found. All cross sections are normalized to 16O + 16O elastic scattering at θc.m. = 90°, which was measured separately with high precision between Ec.m. = 7.3 and 14.4 MeV. The elastic scattering and relative γ-yield of 12C + 12C were measured between Ec.m. = 3.9 and 7.5 MeV. The elastic scattering and neutron yield of 12C + 16O were measured between Ec.m. = 5.4 and 10.1 MeV. 相似文献

Neutron-proton total cross section differences with the beam and target polarizations orientated either transversally or longitudinally with respect to the beam direction, as well as 11 spin dependent elastic scattering observables measured at SATURNE II as a function of energy and angle are presented. A major part of results was measured using the quasimonoenergetic polarized neutron beam and/or the polarized proton target. A small part of data was obtained using a polarized deuteron beam considered as a beam of quasifree neutrons and protons. The present paper represents a review of measured observables. Several sets of present data are compared with results obtained in other laboratories below 0.8 GeV. Imaginary parts of spin dependent forward amplitudes for np scattering and for the isospin stateI=0 were determined. First direct reconstruction of the np scattering matrix at 0.84 GeV is shown. We acknowledge support for this work from J. Arvieux, R. Beurtey, P. Borgeaud, P. A. Chamouard, A. Fleury, E. Heer, J. M. Data are presented for the reaction pi(-)p-->pi(0)pi(0)n in the range from threshold to p(pi(-))=750 MeV/c. The systematics of the data and multipole analyses are examined for sensitivity to a f(0)(600) ("sigma") meson. A one-pion-exchange mechanism is found to be very weak, or absent. The reaction appears to become dominated by sequential pi(0) decays through the Delta(1232) resonance as the beam momentum increases, along with substantial interference effects from several competing mechanisms. 相似文献

We report on the first determination of upper limits on the branching ratio (BR) of eta decay to pi0pi0gamma and to pi0pi0pi0gamma. Both decay modes are strictly forbidden by charge conjugation (C) invariance. Using the Crystal Ball multiphoton detector, we obtained BR(eta-->pi0pi0gamma)<5 x 10(-4) at the 90% confidence level, in support of C invariance of isoscalar electromagnetic interactions of the light quarks. We have also measured BR(eta-->pi0pi0pi0gamma)<6 x 10(-5) at the 90% confidence level, in support of C invariance of isovector electromagnetic interactions. 相似文献
