In this paper, the effects of atmospheric turbulence on the intensity distribution of a tilted Rectangular Partially Coherent Flat-Topped (RPCFT) beam were studied. An analytical formula for the intensity distribution was derived. POWER In Bucket (PIB) value is calculated numerically. The effects of source parameters – such as correlation length, order of flatness and tilt coefficient – on the intensity were analyzed. Detailed analysis demonstrates that these parameters have an influence on beam propagation properties. The analyses are illustrated by numerical examples and graphs.  相似文献

In present paper, the analytical expression for the cross-spectral density of the phase-locked Partially Coherent Flat-Topped (PCFT) array beams propagating through oceanic turbulence based on the extended Huygens–Fresnel integral is derived. Then, the polarization behavior and generalized Stokes parameters of the phase-locked PCFT array beam propagating through oceanic turbulence using the cross-spectral density matrix elements have been achieved. In this paper, the case of the clearwater oceanic turbulence has been considered, i.e. it has been assumed that the light wave is not affected by suspended organic and inorganic impurities. Due to the above-mentioned reason and the turbulence importance, the impacts of oceanic turbulence have been scrutinized, while the effects of absorption and scattering have been ignored. The changes in the Stokes parameters, the fluctuation of Stokes parameters, and consequently the state of polarization (including the spectral degree of polarization, the orientation angle and the degree of ellipticity) of the phase-locked PCFT array beams for different turbulence conditions upon propagation have been investigated. The results may find possible applications in underwater communication.  相似文献

In this paper, the effects of auto-tracking subsystems on the Bit-Error-Rate (BER) and reliability of free-space optical (FSO) communication links are investigated. Considering environmental influences on the laser beam intensity distribution in receiver, we study the propagation properties of Gaussian laser beams through a complete optical path. Then it is tried to derive an analytical formula for intensity distribution along the complete optical path as well as on the receiver's detector plane based on the Collins integral. Based upon the intensity formula, we calculate the values of signal to noise ratio (SNR), BER, and power while considering the effects of atmospheric losses due to absorption, scattering and turbulence on them. Using mentioned values, the role of auto-tracking subsystems on link reliability improvement in adverse weather condition is described. The related results are illustrated by graphs obtained by calculations and simulations.  相似文献

We propose two new notion of contraction mappings involving measure of noncompactness in the frame work of Banach space and derive some basic Darbo type fixed and coupled fixed point results. The results are correlated with the classical Banach fixed point theorems. Further we show the applicability of obtained results to the theory of integral equations following a concrete example which illustrate the application part.  相似文献
