A solid phase extraction system for separation and preconcentration of trace amounts of Pb(II), Ni(II), Cd(II) and Cu(II) is proposed. The procedure is based on the adsorption of Pb2+, Ni2+, Cd2+ and Cu2+ ions on a column of 1-(2-pyridylazo)-2-naphthol (PAN) immobilised on surfactant-coated clinoptilolite prior to their determinations by Flame Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (FAAS). The effective parameters including pH, sample volume, sample flow rate and eluent flow rate were also studied. The analytes collected on the column were eluted with 5 mL of 1 mol L?1 nitric acid. A concentration factor of 180 can be achieved by passing 900 mL of sample through the column. The detection limits (3 s) for Cd, Cu, Pb and Ni were found to be 0.28, 0.12, 0.44 and 0.46 µg L?1, respectively. The relative SDs at 10 µg L?1 (n = 10) for analytes were in the range of 1.2–1.4%. The method was applied to the determination of Pb, Ni, Cd and Cu in water samples.  相似文献

A novel and efficient sulfadiazine imprinted polymer was synthesized via co-precipitation method and successfully grafted on magnetic multi-walled carbon nanotubes. The synthesized magnetic imprinted polymer was characterized by scanning electron microscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, X-ray powder diffraction analysis, thermal analysis and applied as a sorbent for selective magnetic solid-phase extraction of sulfadiazine. The retained sulfadiazine was eluted by 150.0 µL methanol/acetic acid (6:4) solution and quantified by fiber optic linear array spectrophotometry via formation of a detectable azo dye. All parameters affecting the extraction of sulfadiazine were investigated and optimized. Under the optimized conditions, the method exhibited a linear dynamic range of 2.0–50.0 µg L?1 with a detection limit of 0.56 µg L?1 and enrichment factor of 300.0. The relative standard deviation at 30.0 µg L?1 of sulfadiazine (N = 6) was 2.8 and 4.6% for intra-day and inter-day, respectively. The method was successfully applied to determine sulfadiazine in human urine, honey, milk and environmental water samples.  相似文献

Solidified floating organic drop microextraction (SFODME) was successfully used as a sample preparation method for graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry (GFAAS). 20 μL of 1-undecanol containing dithizone as the chelating agent (2 × 10−4 mol L−1) was transferred to the water samples containing lead ions, and the solution was stirred for the prescribed time. The sample vial was cooled in an ice bath for 5 min. The solidified extract was transferred into a conical vial where it melted immediately, and then 10 μL of it was analyzed by GFAAS.Factors that influence the extraction and complex formation, such as pH, concentration of dithizone, extraction time, sample volume, and ionic strength were optimized. Under the optimized conditions, a good relative standard deviation of ±5.4% at 10 ng L−1 and detection limit of 0.9 ng L−1 were obtained. The procedure was applied to tap water, well water, river water and sea water, and accuracy was assessed through the analysis of certified reference water or recovery experiments.  相似文献

A simple and convenient method for the separation and preconcentration of copper from aqueous samples has been developed. The procedure is based on the chemical sorption of copper(II) onto a column packed with immobilized dithizone on microcrystalline naphthalene. The trapped copper is eluted with 10 mL of 4 M nitric acid and determined by flame atomic absorption spectrometry. A preconcentration factor of 200 was obtained for a volume of 2 L. The relative standard deviation for the determination of 5 and 10 μg/L copper was 2.2 and 1.7%, respectively. The procedure was successfully applied to the determination of copper in water and alloy samples. The accuracy was assessed through the analysis of certified reference materials or recovery experiments. The text was submitted by the authors in English.  相似文献

A flow injection flame atomic absorption spectrometry system incorporating a microcolumn of rice bran was designed, and its capability for on‐line trace enrichment of copper, cadmium and lead was studied. Analytes were deposited on the microcolumn by processing a standard or solution of analytes on the column. Injection of 250 μL of nitric acid (1 mol/L) then served to elute the retained species to FAAS. The procedure was successfully applied for determination of copper in tap water, well water and multivitamin tablets. The accuracy was assessed through recovery experiments and independent analysis by furnace‐AAS. A sample volume of 20 mL of copper resulted in a preconcentration factor of 96; precision value at the 20 μg/L was 4.1%.  相似文献

An indirect simple and rapid cloud point extraction is proposed for separation and preconcentration of sulfadiazine and its determination by flow injection‐flame atomic absorption spectroscopy (FI‐FAAS). The sulfadiazine from 35 mL of solution was readily converted to silver sulfadiazine upon addition of silver nitrate (9.7 × 10‐5 mol/L). Then, Triton X‐114 a non ionic surfactant was added and the solution was heated to 60 °C. At this stage, two separate phases was formed and silver sulfadiazine enters the surfactant rich phase of non‐ionic micelles of Triton X‐114. The surfactant‐rich phase (~50 μL) was then separated and diluted to 300 μL with acidic methanol. The concentration of silver in the surfactant‐rich phase which is proportional to the concentration of sulfadiazine in sample solution was determined by FI‐FAAS. The parameters affecting extraction and separation were optimized. Under the optimum conditions (i.e. pH 2‐10, silver concentration (9.7 × 10 ‐5 mol/L), Triton X‐114 (0.075% v/v) and temperature 60 °C) a preconcentration factor of 117 and a relative standard deviation of 4.9% at 37 μg L‐1 of sulfadiazine was obtained. The method was successfully applied to analysis of milk, urine and tablet samples and accuracy was determined by recovery experiments.  相似文献

A sensitive and simple method for determination of chromium species after separation and preconcentration by solid phase extraction (SPE) has been developed. For the determination of the total concentration of chromium in solution, Cr(VI) was efficiently reduced to Cr(III) by addition of hydroxylamine and Cr(III) was preconcentrated on a column of immobilised ferron on alumina. The adsorbed analyte was then eluted with 5?mL of hydrochloric acid and was determined by flame atomic absorption spectrometery. The speciation of chromium was affected by first passing the solution through an acidic alumina column which retained Cr(VI) and then Cr(III) was preconcentrated by immobilised ferron column and determined by FAAS. The concentration of Cr(VI) was determined from the difference of concentration of total chromium and Cr(III). The effect of pH, concentration of eluent, flow rate of sample and eluent solution, and foreign ions on the sorption of chromium (III) by immobilised ferron column was investigated. Under the optimised conditions the calibration curve was linear over the range of 2–400?µg?L?1 for 1000?mL preconcentration volume. The detection limit was 0.32?µg?L?1, the preconcentration factor was 400, and the relative standard deviation (%RSD) was 1.9% (at 10?µg?L?1; n?=?7). The method was successfully applied to the determination of chromium species in water samples and total chromium in standard alloys.  相似文献

Solidified floating organic drop microextraction was applied as a separation/preconcentration step prior to the electrothermal atomic absorption spectrometric (ETAAS) determination of ultra trace of antimony species. The method was based on the formation of an extractable complex between Sb(III) and ammonium pyrrolidinedithiocarbamate at pH ~ 5, while Sb(V) was remained in the aqueous phase. The antimony extracted into 1-undecanol was determined by ETAAS. Total antimony was determined after the reduction of Sb(V) to Sb(III) with potassium iodide and ascorbic acid. The amount of Sb(V) was determined from the difference of concentration of total antimony and Sb(III). Under the optimum conditions an enhancement factor of 437.5 and a detection limit of 5.0 ng L?1for the preconcentration of 25 mL of sample was achieved. The relative standard deviation at 300 ng L?1 of antimony was found to be 3.5 % (n = 6). The proposed method was successfully applied to the determination of antimony in tea, basil and natural water samples.  相似文献

A syringe to syringe dispersive liquid phase microextraction-solidified floating organic drop was introduced and used for the simultaneous extraction of trace amounts of albendazole and triclabendazole from different matrices. The extracted analytes were determined by high performance liquid chromatography along with fluorescence detection. The analytical parameters affecting the microextraction efficiency including the nature and volume of the extraction solvent, sample volume, sample pH, ionic strength and the cycles of extraction were optimized. The calibration curves were linear in the range of 0.1–30.0 μg L−1 and 0.2–30.0 μg L−1 with determination coefficients of 0.9999 and 0.9998 for albendazole and triclabendazole respectively. The detection limits defined as three folds of the signal to noise ratio were found to be 0.02 μg L−1 for albendazole and 0.06 μg L−1 for triclabendazole. The inter-day and intra-day precision (RSD%) for both analytes at three concentration levels (0.5, 2.0 and 10.0 μg L−1) were in the range of 6.3–10.1% and 5.0–7.5% respectively. The developed method was successfully applied to determine albendazole and triclabendazole in water, cow milk, honey, and urine samples.  相似文献
