Interaction of 4-aminobenzofurazan with aryldiazonium salts

The reaction of 4-aminobenzofurazan with aryldiazonium salts leads to the formation of 4-amino-5-aryl-azobenzofurazans and 5-amino-2-aryl-4-nitroso-2H-benzotriazoles, products of the rearrangement of the initially formed 4-amino-7-(arylazo)benzofurazans. Oxidation of the benzofurazan as well as of the triazole derivatives gives 7-aryl-1,2,3-triazol[4,5-e]benzofurazans. Calculation of diatomic molecules with the lctoc method. Excited states of some homonuclear molecules and ions

Calculations are performed, using a basis of two-center functions described previously, for excited states of the following three-and four-electron compounds: H₂ ^–, He₂ ⁺, He₂, Li₂ ⁺². High efficiency is demonstrated for the frozen ionic core approximation and the nonorthogonal orbital method in such calculations. Determination of 3-Chloro-4-(Dichloromethyl)-5-Hydroxy-2(5H)-Furanone (Toxicant MX) in Drinking Water by Chromatography–Tandem Mass Spectrometry

It is shown that toxicant MX can be reliably identified and determined quantitatively by ion-trap tandem mass spectrometry with an accuracy as high as that for high-resolution mass spectrometry.     

On renormalizability of non-anticommutativeN=(1, 0) theories with singlet deformation

We study the quantum properties of two theories with a non-anticommutative chiral singlet deformation ofN=(1, 1) supersymmetry: the Abelian model of a vector gauge multiplet and the model of a gauge multiplet interacting with a neutral hypermultiplet. Both these models are proved to be not only renormalizable but also finite.     

Submillimeter-wave large-orbit gyrotron

We develop a thermionic-emission electron-optical system forming a dense beam of electrons moving along helical trajectories round the axis of a gyrotron cavity. The maximum beam current is 4 A and the pitch-factor of electrons is 1.0 for a particle energy of 250 keV and a pulse duration of 10 µs. Using such a beam in a gyrotron operated at the third cyclotron harmonic, we obtain single-mode oscillation with a power of 10 µs in the TE_3,8 and TE_3,9 modes with frequencies 371 and 414 GHz, respectively.     

Some properties of higher-order Darboux transformations

We introduce the operator of the Darboux transformation of order n as an nth-order differential operator transforming the solution of the one-dimensional Schrödinger equation with a given potential into the solution corresponding to a different potential. For n=1 we obtain the usual Darboux transformation. It is shown that when n1 this transformation can always be represented as a product of n first-order Darboux transformations. We discuss the relationship between higher-order Darboux transformations and the supersymmetric approach to quantum mechanics and also the algebra of the dynamical symmetry of the system.Tomsk State University. Formation of the pyrroline-N-oxide ring by the reaction of isonitrosoketones with enamines and some conversions of the pyrroline-N-oxides obtained

Compounds containing the pyrroline-N-oxide ring are obtained when isonitrosoketones — 2,6-dihydroxyiminocyclohexanone and -isonitrosoacetophenone — react with enamines.
