The reaction C C has been studied at 36 GeV/c. A clear signal for the decaya 2 (1320) · is observed in the mass spectrum. The measured ratio of branchings is BR (a 2 )/BR(a 2 );(3.4±0.8±0.5)·10–2.  相似文献

Partial wave analysis of the π–A π+ππ system produced by 29 GeV/cπ beam on a beryllium target is presented. About 30 × 106 |events in the wide t′|range 0–0.8 GeV2/c 2 are collected with upgraded VES setup. The size of the data sample is 2.5 times larger than one previously analyzed by VES. Data are analyzed using formalism of the density matrix with unlimited rank. We discuss status of the a 1(1420) a 2(1700) a 3(1875) states and a structure of exotic ρ(770)π P-wave with J PC = 1-+. Parameters of a 3(1875) are estimated as M = 1985 ± 20 MeV/c 2, Γ = 200 ± 50 MeV/c 2 (preliminary).  相似文献

It is experimentally revealed that the pulse-periodic bias potential provides a multifold decrease in the surface content of microparticles (MPs). It is ascertained that a decrease in the MP concentration at the target can be explained by several physical mechanisms. From experiments with a fine-structure grid, it is found that less than 10% of MPs negatively charged in the plasma can be reflected in the electric field of the charge-separation layer near the sample. A substantial decrease in the MP density occurs after direct interaction between a MP and the sample under the action of a negative HF short-pulse bias potential. Almost half the MP surface density is caused by ion sputtering. A twelvefold reduction in the MP surface density is attained when the target is irradiated for 2 min.  相似文献

We solve the bending problem for an anisotropic plate with flaws like smooth curved nonoverlapping through cracks and rigid inclusions. The problem is solved by the method of Lekhnitskii complex potentials specified as Cauchy type integrals over the flaw contours with an unknown integrand density function. We use the Sokhotskii—Plemelj formulas to reduce the boundary-value problem to a system of singular integral equations with the additional conditions that the displacements in the plate are single-valued when going around the cut contours and the equilibrium conditions for stress-free rigid inclusions. After the singular integrals are approximated by the Gauss-Chebyshev quadrature formulas, the problem is reduced to solving a system of linear algebraic equations. We study the local stress distribution near flaw tips. We analyze the mutual influence of flaws on the stress distribution character near their vertices and compare the well-known solutions for isotropic plates with the solutions obtained by passing to the limit in the anisotropy parameters (“weakly anisotropic material”) and by using the method proposed here.  相似文献

Preliminary results obtained by studying K ? π ?, K ? π ? π 0, and K ? π ? η systems in the VES experiment are presented. No statistically significant signals from possible resonances were observed in two- and three-particle mass spectra of doubly charged (sub)systems.  相似文献

We consider the technique for obtaining electrodynamic disperse suspension of metal (Al, W, Cu) and dielectric (semiconductor) particles (SiO2, Al2O3, CuO, Cu2O) and its evaporation with the help of a diffusive electric discharge. The time dependences of current and integrated luminescence intensity in a pulsed electric discharge in a tube containing a film of a substance (Cu) of the electrodynamic disperse suspension are measured.  相似文献

Results obtained by investigating the reaction π ? pηπ 0 n at the VES spectrometer (Institute for High Energy Physics, Protvino) are presented. The effective-mass spectrum and angular distributions of ηπ 0 events are compared with their counterparts for ηπ 0 and ηπ ? events selected from the same data sample. The ratio R of the branching fractions for the decays of a 2 0 (1320) mesons into ηπ and ηπ is measured. The result is R=0.047±0.018, which agrees with the value measured previously for a 2 ? . An investigation of P-wave production in the ηπ 0 and ηπ 0 systems over the effective-mass interval 1.45–1.9 GeV/c2 leads to the conclusion that the coupling of the exotic object π 1 (1600) to the ρπ channel is suppressed in relation to its coupling to the ηπ or the b 1(1235)π channel.  相似文献

Experimental investigations of candidates for hybrid mesons in the VES experiment at the Institute for High Energy Physics (Protvino) are surveyed. The data in question concern π 1 (1400) characterized by the exotic quantum numbers of J PC = 1?+ and observed in the ηπ ? final state; JPC = 1?+ π 1 (1600) in the ηπ ?, b 1 (1235)π, and f 1(1285)π ? final states; and J PC = 0?+ π(1800) in the f 0(980)π ?, f 0(1300)π ?, f 0(1500)π ?, and a 0 ?
