The reactions between rubidium carbonate and vanadium pentoxide were performed at different high temperatures. Four reaction products of the compositions: I. Rb2O · V2O5; II. 2 Rb2O · V2O5; III. 3 Rb2O · V2O5; and IV. Rb2O · 4 V2O5 were obtained. According to the determination of Rb and the X-ray powder photographs of the products the existence of rubidium metavanadate (RbVO3) and rubidium pyrovanadate (Rb4V2O7) was confirmed. On the other hand, the preparation of a pure rubidium orthovanadate (Rb3VO4) and rubidium tetravanadate (Rb2O · 4 V2O5) was not successful. The diffraction pattern of Rb2O · V2O5 obeys hexagonal indexing with lattice dimensions a = 7.347 and c = 13.608 Å.  相似文献

DFT methods have been used to investigate the dependence of the geometry and energy order of the low energy states of [d(4)-eta(5)-CpMo(CO)(2)X] 16-electron complexes on X (X = halogen, CN, H and CH(3)). The calculations use a double-zeta plus polarization valence basis set on all atoms and utilize relativistic ECPs on Mo and the heavier halogens. In every case two singlet and two triplet electronic states have been considered and minimized at the B3LYP level. For X = Cl, additional calculations were carried out at the BPW91, CCSD(T), and CASSCF levels. In the C(s) point group, the singlet states are from the (1a')(2)(1a')(2) and (1a')(2)(2a')(2) configurations of the valence d(4) electrons of the metal, and are denoted (1)A'-a and (1)A'-b, respectively. The triplet species are for the lowest (3)A' and (3)A' states from the (1a')(2)(2a')(1)(1a')(1) and (1a')(2)(1a')(1)(2a')(1) d(4) configurations. For all substituents, the geometry of both the singlet and triplet states is found to distort substantially from the uniform 3-leg piano-stool structural motif, a behavior that can be related to Jahn-Teller effects. When X is a halogen or a methyl, (1)A'-b is predicted to be lower than (1)A'-a, while the reverse order of these two singlet states is calculated for X = H and CN. For all substituents (3)A' is substantially higher than (3)A'. In turn, the energy of (3)A' is calculated to be comparable to the lower singlet state of each complex. Attempts are made to rationalize some of these results using qualitative MO theory.  相似文献

The depression of the freezing point of molten KNO3, as solvent, was measured after the addition of small concentrations of the solutes: 1. WO3, K2WO4, K2W2O7 and 2. V2O5, Cs2V6O16 and Rb2V6O16. DTA-apparatus was used in the measurements. The results showed that the investigated tungstates and vanadates were dissociated in the melt with the formation of monotungstate (WO4)2? and orthovanadate (VO4)3?-ions.  相似文献

Zusammenfassung Um die Beziehungen zwischen der Lichtabsorption des zweiwertigen Kupfers nach isomorphem Einbau in ein oxidisches Wirtsgitter und dessen Konstitution aufzufinden, wurde Cu2+ in oktaedrischer (Cu x Mg 1–x TiO3, Cu x Cd 1–x TiO3, Cu x Mg 1–x CaSiO4, Cu x Mg 1–x CaGeO4, Cu x Mg 2–x SiO4, Cu x Mg 2–x GeO4) und tetraedrischer Koordination (Cu x Zn2–x SiO4, Cu x Mg 1–x Cr2O4) spektralphotometrisch untersucht. Die Farbkurven besitzen mindestens 2 Absorptionsbanden (Kristallfeldbanden) im längerwelligen und eine oft gut ausgeprägte Elektronenübergangsbande (charge transfer) im kürzerwelligen Spektralbereich. In einigen Fällen ist noch eine zweite Elektronenübergangsbande als Schulter zu erkennen. Es wurden auch Cu-haltige 2,3- und 2,4-Spinelle spektralphotometrisch untersucht (Cu x Mg 1–x Al2O4, Cu x Mg 1–x Ga2O4, Cu x Cd y Zn 1–x–y Al2O4, Cu x Mg 2–x SnO4, Cu x Mg 2–x TiO4, Cu x Zn 1–x MgTiO4, Cu x Mg 1–x Cd y TiO4). Es zeigte sich, daß Cu2+ immer auf Tetraeder- und Oktaederlücken verteilt ist. Eine Aufweitung des Wirtsgitters durch isomorphen Einbau größerer Kationen bewirkt nicht immer eine IR-Verschiebung der Banden, sondern in einigen Fällen (Spinellphasen) auch eine UV-Verschiebung. Eine Sonderstellung nimmt das ägyptisch-Blau CuCaSi4O10 ein, da hier das Cu2+ von 4 O2– in planarer Anordnung umgeben ist. Die Farbkurve weist 3 Maxima auf im Einklang mit der Kristallfeldtheorie.
In order to find out relations between the lightabsorption of bivalent copper isomorphously incorporated into an oxidic host lattice and the constitution of this lattice, the spectrum of Cu2+ has been investigated in octahedral (Cu x Mg1–x TiO3, Cu x Cd 1–x TiO3, Cu x Mg 1–x CaSiO4, Cu x Mg 1–x CaGeO4, Cu x Mg 2–x SiO4, Cu x Mg 2–x GeO4) and tetrahedral coordination (Cu x Zn 2–x SiO4, Cu x Mg 1–x Cr2O4). The colour curves show at least 2 absorption bands within the region of longer wave length and a charge transfer band often well developed in the range of shorter wavelength. In some cases also a second charge transfer band becomes conspicuous as a shoulder. Copper containing 2,3- and 2,4-spinels have been also investigated (Cu x Mg 1–x Al2O4, Cu x Mg 1–x Ga2O4, Cu x Cd y Zn 1–x–y Al2O4, Cu x Mg 2–x SnO4, Cu x Mg 2–x TiO4, Cu x Zn 1–x MgTiO4, Cu x Mg 1–x Cd y Zn 1–y TiO4). From the colour curve one can infer that Cu2+ occupies in the spinels always tetrahedral as well as octahedral interstices. A widening of the lattice does not effect always a shifting of the absorption bands towards IR but in some cases (spinel phases) also the inverse shifting will occur. An exceptional case represents the egyptian blue CuCaSi4O10 since in this lattice the Cu2+ are surrounded by four O2– in a coplanar arrangement. The colour curve shows three absorption bands in agreement with the crystal field theory.

Polyurethane elastomers of a controlled molecular architecture were synthesized using a two‐step polymerization technique. The building blocks of the elastomeric materials included urea–urethane prepolymers end‐capped with diisocyanate groups and had an exact number of urea groups at both ends. Two‐dimensional bifurcated hydrogen‐bonding networks incorporating the urea groups were, with differential scanning calorimetric and dynamic mechanical thermal analyzer techniques, responsible for the increase in the glass‐transition temperature (Tg) of the hard block and sharp interface morphology between the pure “hard” domains and pure “soft” domains. The higher extent of the phase separation between the two phases contributed to higher elastic moduli for the hard blocks and higher tensile strength for the elastomeric samples. Higher elongation values were attributed to the liberation of the elastomeric chain ends that otherwise would have been constrained in the interface region. The higher Tg values of the hard blocks corresponded to an increase in the hardness values and a decrease in the tear‐strength values. The increase in the amount of urea groups within the hard segments, as a result of the increased amount of water and blowing catalyst, resulted in elastomeric foams with higher open‐cell content. This resulted in lower resilience values as measured using the pendulum rebound test and was attributed to the ability of the open cells to absorb and dissipate energy. © 2002 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. An in silico approach applying computer-simulated models helps enhance biomedicines by sightseeing the pharmacology of potential therapeutics. Currently, an in silico study combined with in vitro assays investigated the antimicrobial ability of Limoniastrum monopetalum and silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) fabricated by its aid. AgNPs mediated by L. monopetalum were characterized using FTIR, TEM, SEM, and DLS. L. monopetalum metabolites were detected by QTOF–LCMS and assessed using an in silico study for pharmacological properties. The antibacterial ability of an L. monopetalum extract and AgNPs was investigated. PASS Online predictions and the swissADME web server were used for antibacterial activity and potential molecular target metabolites, respectively. Spherical AgNPs with a 68.79 nm average size diameter were obtained. Twelve biomolecules (ferulic acid, trihydroxy-octadecenoic acid, catechin, pinoresinol, gallic acid, myricetin, 6-hydroxyluteolin, 6,7-dihydroxy-5-methoxy 7-O-β-d-glucopyranoside, methyl gallate, isorhamnetin, chlorogenic acid, 2-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-5,7-dihydroxy-4-oxo-4H-chromen-3-yl 6-O-(6-deoxy-β-l-mannopyranosyl)-β-d-glucopyranoside) were identified. The L. monopetalum extract and AgNPs displayed antibacterial effects. The computational study suggested that L. Monopetalum metabolites could hold promising antibacterial activity with minimal toxicity and an acceptable pharmaceutical profile. The in silico approach indicated that metabolites 8 and 12 have the highest antibacterial activity, and swissADME web server results suggested the CA II enzyme as a potential molecular target for both metabolites. Novel therapeutic agents could be discovered using in silico molecular target prediction combined with in vitro studies. Among L. Monopetalum metabolites, metabolite 12 could serve as a starting point for potential antibacterial treatment for several human bacterial infections.  相似文献

The study aims to assess the interaction between fluconazole and sulfonatocalix[4]naphthalene towards enhancing its dissolution performance and antimycotic activity. A solubility study was carried out at different pH conditions, and the results revealed the formation of a 1:1 molar ratio fluconazole-sulfonatocalix[4]naphthalene inclusion complex with an AL type phase solubility diagrams. The solid powder systems of fluconazole-sulfonatocalix[4]naphthalene were prepared using kneaded and co-evaporation techniques and physical mixtures. DCS, PXRD, TGA-DTG, FT-IR, and in vitro dissolution performance characterize the prepared systems. According to physicochemical characterization, the co-evaporation approach produces an amorphous inclusion complex of the drug inside the cavity of sulfonatocalix[4]naphthalene. The co-evaporate product significantly increased the drug dissolution rate up to 93 ± 1.77% within 10 min, unlike other prepared solid powders. The antimycotic activity showed an increase substantially (p ≤ 0.05, t-test) antimycotic activity of fluconazole co-evaporate mixture with sulfonatocalix[4]naphthalene compared with fluconazole alone against clinical strains of Candida albicans and Candida glabrata. In conclusion, sulfonatocalix[4]naphthalene could be considered an efficient complexing agent for fluconazole to enhance its aqueous solubility, dissolution performance, and antimycotic activity.  相似文献

Premature ovarian failure (POF) is described as a loss of oocytes and the absence of folliculogenesis and is considered an adverse effect of chemotherapeutic drugs, which leads to infertility. Subsequently, the existing inquiry was achieved by exploring the potential suspicious influences of lemon peel extract (LPE), and resveratrol (RES) on cyclophosphamide (CPA) induced-POF. The results showed that CPA-induced POF significantly decreased serum estradiol (E2) and progesterone levels, along with a considerable rise in serum luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) levels. Moreover, CPA administration to rats significantly increased the serum level of Malondialdehyde (MDA) and significantly lowered the levels of reduced glutathione (GSH) and superoxide dismutase (SOD); in addition, it increased nuclear factor kappa B (NF-κB) levels, tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), as well as cyclooxygenase 2 (COX-2) with the spread expression of inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) mRNA levels and caspase-3 (Casp3) levels in ovarian tissues versus the control rats. However, treatment with LPE and RES suppressed the triggering of NF- κB pathways, evidenced by a considerable reduction in Casp3 & iNOS mRNA expression level and significant ameliorative effects in all evaluated parameters, as confirmed by the histological and immunohistochemical investigation when comparing the model group. In overall findings, both lemon peel extract and resveratrol can mitigate the adverse effects of CPA-induced POF. Most crucially, its combination therapy is a promising pharmacological agent for this disease.  相似文献

Introduction. Vigabatrin (VGB) is an antiepileptic drug that acts to irreversibly inhibit the γ-aminobutyric acid (GABA) transaminase enzyme, elevating GABA levels. Broad studies have established that long-term treatment and/or high doses of VGB lead to variable visual defects. However, little attention has been paid to its other side effects, especially those demonstrating cerebellar involvement. Sodium glucose-linked co-transporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitors are antidiabetic agents with protective effects far greater than expected based on their anti-hyperglycemic effect. Method. Our study herein was designed to investigate the possible ameliorative effect of empagliflozin, the SGLT2 inhibitors, in VGB-induced cerebellar toxicity. A total of 40 male Wistar rats were allocated equally into 4 groups: Group I: control group; Group II: VGB group; Group III empagliflozin treated VGB group; and Group IV: empagliflozin treated group. All groups were subjected to the detection of cerebellar messenger RNA gene expression of silent mating type information regulation 2 homolog 1 (SIRT1) and Nucleoporin p62 (P62). Mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR), adenosine monophosphate-activated protein kinase (AMPK), and beclin1 levels were assessed by the ELISA technique while malondialdehyde (MDA) level and superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity were detected spectrophotometrically. Immuno-histochemical studies, focusing on glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP) and S100 were performed, and the optical color density and the mean area percentage of GFAP positive astrocytes and the number of S 100 positive cells were also counted. Results. Following empagliflozin treatment, we documented significant upregulation of both SIRT1 and P62 mRNA gene expression. Additionally, AMPK, Beclin1 levels, and SOD activity were significantly improved, while both mTOR and MDA levels were significantly reduced. Conclusions. We concluded for the first time that empagliflozin efficiently ameliorated the VGB-induced disrupted mTOR/AMPK/SIRT-1 signaling axis with subsequent improvement of the autophagy machinery and mitigation of the oxidative and inflammatory cellular environment, paving the way for an innovative therapeutic potential in managing VGB-induced neurotoxicity.  相似文献
