A list is given of all semisymmetric (edge- but not vertex-transitive) connected finite cubic graphs of order up to 768. This
list was determined by the authors using Goldschmidt's classification of finite primitive amalgams of index (3,3), and a computer
algorithm for finding all normal subgroups of up to a given index in a finitely-presented group. The list includes several
previously undiscovered graphs. For each graph in the list, a significant amount of information is provided, including its
girth and diameter, the order of its automorphism group, the order and structure of a minimal edge-transitive group of automorphisms,
its Goldschmidt type, stabiliser partitions, and other details about its quotients and covers. A summary of all known infinite
families of semisymmetric cubic graphs is also given, together with explicit rules for their construction, and members of
the list are identified with these. The special case of those graphs having K1,3 as a normal quotient is investigated in detail.

A synthesis of stereodefined enantiomerically pure 2-alkenyl azetidines is described using Wittig olefination as key step. The quaternary triflate ammonium salts of these heterocycles were prepared in a stereoselective way and treatment of these azetidinium salts with a base (KHMDS or PhLi) induced a regioselective Stevens rearrangement leading to a 3-alkenyl pyrrolidine. An unprecedented SN2′ reaction involving phenyllithium as nucleophile and an ammonium as leaving group was observed in one case. 相似文献

N-Cyanomethyl and N-propargyl β-amino alcohols are chlorinated with SOCl2 and treated with NaN3 in DMSO. A substitution/cycloaddition process affords in good yields, with high diastereoselectivity and a regioselectivity depending on the substitution pattern of the starting amino alcohol, fused tri- and tetrazoles-piperazines. These heterocycles were further lithiated with n-BuLi at the benzylic position and reacted diastereoselectively with a range of electrophiles. 相似文献

New series of acridines and phenanthrolines have been prepared from β-chlorovinyl aldehydes and various aniline derivatives allowing the installation of valuable substituents, such as ketone, nitro or amino groups at the heterocyclic core. X-ray analyses confirmed the structures of acridines and phenanthrolines as well as the presence of partially hydrogenated rings and their crucial impact on the overall shape of the acridine-based architectures. 1H NMR revealed the helical behaviour of several acridine motives. Comparison of UV data between architectures and influence of number of partially hydrogenated rings is also described. 相似文献

The synthesis and properties of new chiral polycyclic architectures that display both helicity and a saddle-type shape are described. The enantiomers have been separated, and their absolute configuration was determined by VCD and ECD. The intrinsic properties of tetrazine as a π-anion receptor and as an on/off recognition probe merged with H-bond ability of an urea motif into a single architecture constitutes a new generation of well-defined anion receptors. Complexation properties directly benefit from the dual and synergistic contribution of tetrazine and urea. In this study, we report on the synthesis and assessment of binding properties to anions of diverse geometries. Association constants have been predicted by theoretical calculations and evaluated by multiple and complementary experimental techniques including electrospray-mass tandem spectroscopy, NMR, UV-visible, steady state fluorescence spectroscopies and time resolved fluorescence. These results provide the basis for a better understanding of both the complexation and the anion-dependent quenching mechanism. 相似文献

Pyridylmethylamines or pma are versatile platforms for different catalytic transformations. Five pma‐ligands and their respective Pd complexes have been studied by liquid state NMR. By comparing 1H, 13C and 15N chemical shifts for each pma/pma–Pd couple, a general trend for the metallacycle atoms concerns variations of the electronic distribution at the pendant arm, especially at the nitrogen atom of the ligand. Moreover, the increase of the chemical shift of the pendant arm nitrogen atom from primary to tertiary amine is also related to the increase of crowding within the complex. This statement is in good agreement with X‐ray data collected for several complexes. Catalytic results for the Suzuki–Miyaura reaction involving the pma–Pd complexes showed within this series that a sterically crowded and electron‐rich ligand in the metallacycle was essential to reach the coupling product with a good selectivity. In this context, NMR study of chemical shifts of all active nuclei especially in the metallacycle could give a trend of reactivity in the studied family of pma–Pd complexes.
