In this paper we prove a comparison principle between the semicontinuous viscosity sub- and supersolutions of the tangential oblique derivative problem and the mixed Dirichlet–Neumann problem for fully nonlinear elliptic equations. The experimental parameters of cathodic stripping chronopotentiometry of chloride at a silver-film electrode are investigated and optimized. The chloride preconcentration is achieved in the form of silver chloride by a controlled potential oxidation of the working electrode under vigorous stirring. Cathodic stripping of the deposit is obtained by the constant current, under the condition of diffusive mass transfer. Deaeration of the solution is not necessary. A detection limit of 35 μ dm−3 (10−6 mol dm−3) is obtained at a deposition time of 180 s, with a reproducibility of 6.7 % (expressed as relative standard deviation, RSD).  相似文献

A new method for the preparation of exactly alternating silarylene–siloxane polymers by the low temperature step-growth condensation polymerization reaction of arylenedisilanols and bisurei-dosilanes in chlorobenzene was investigated. To obtain high molecular weight products 1H NMR spectroscopy and gel permeation chromatography were used to monitor the polymerization reaction. By using these procedures 12 different polymers were prepared from 1,4-bis(dimethylhydroxysilyl)-benzene, 4,4′-bis(dimethylhydroxysilyl)phenyl ether, bis(1,1-tetramethylene-3-phenylureido)-dimethylsilane, and bis(1,1-tetramethylene-3-phenylureido)-methylvinylsilane monomers. Optical sensors for application in innovative wearable sensing systems such as textile-integrated systems and wireless sensor platforms rely on the development of low-cost multifunctional materials compatible with standard fabrication technologies. We are developing optically responsive pH sensitive sol–gel coatings for integration with a mobile wireless smart tag sensing system. For this application, we have fabricated a range of thin pH sensitive films using bromocresol green (BCG) indicator immobilised in inorganic–organic silica hybrid matrices prepared by a sol–gel method and deposited by spin-coating onto glass substrates. The surface hydrophilicity of the films were varied by using the inorganic sol–gel precursor tetraethoxysilane together with either methyltriethoxysilane, ethyltriethoxysilane, phenyltrimethoxysilane or glycidoxypropyltrimethoxysilane as organically modified sol–gel precursors, co-polymerised in different ratios. Spectral characterisation of the films was performed using visible absorption spectroscopy. The shift in absorption maxima and other spectral changes of the different matrices have been identified, and the apparent pK app values of the immobilised BCG pH indicator determined. The surface wettability properties of the films have been studied by measuring the contact angle of water, formamide and diiodomethane which has allowed the estimation of the surface free energy (SFE) using three different models: Owens–Wendt, Wu and van Oss-Chaudhury-Good. It is shown that the SFE of the hybrid films is directly related to the type and the degree of organic modification, which in turn has a significant effect on the pH response-time of these sensing films.  相似文献

New forms of hybrid multiaxial nanocomposites with enhanced mechanical and stab resisting properties are presented. This study is motivated by the lack of knowledge in the study of the multiaxial fabric nanocomposites with two modified thermoplastic matrices for antiballistic protection. Introduction of 5 wt.% silica nanoparticles in the composite of polyurethane/p‐aramid/poly (vinyl butyral) leads to significant improvement in mechanical properties, and the addition of silane as a coupling agents and glutaraldehyde as a crosslinking agents yielded maximal values of storage modulus, tensile modulus and anti‐stabbing properties for hybrid nanocomposites. The subject of this study is production of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) using an original procedure of reduction of lithium molten salts onto graphite cathode; their structural characterization and application as support material for electrocatalysts aimed for hydrogen evolution. As-produced CNTs were characterized by means of scanning and transmission electron microscopy (SEM and TEM), Raman spectroscopy, and thermogravimetric and differential thermal analysis (DTA). SEM and TEM images have shown that nanotubes are mostly of curved shape with length of 1–20 μm and diameter of 20–40 nm. Raman peaks indicate that the crystallinity of produced nanotubes is rather low. The obtained results suggest that formed product contains up to 80 % multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs), while the rest being non-reacted graphite and fullerenes. DTA curves show that combustion process of the nanotubes takes place in two stages, i.e., at 450 and 720 °C. At the lower temperature, combustion of MWCNTs occurs, while at higher one, fullerenes and non-reacted graphite particles burn. As-produced MWCNTs were used as electrocatalyst’s support materials and their performance was compared with that of traditional carbon support material Vulcan XC-72. MWNTs have shown almost twice higher real surface area, and electrocatalyst deposited on them showed better catalytic activity than corresponding one deposited on Vulcan XC-72.  相似文献

This study evaluated the in vitro antineoplastic and antiviral potential and in vivo toxicity of twelve extracts with different polarity obtained from the herbaceous perennial plant Geum urbanum L. (Rosaceae). In vitro cytotoxicity was determined by ISO 10993-5/2009 on bladder cancer, (T-24 and BC-3C), liver carcinoma (HEP-G2) and normal embryonic kidney (HEK-293) cell lines. The antineoplastic activity was elucidated through assays of cell clonogenicity, apoptosis induction, nuclear factor kappa B p65 (NFκB p65) activation and total glutathione levels. Neutral red uptake study was applied for antiviral activity. The most promising G. urbanum extract was analyzed by UHPLC–HRMS. The acute in vivo toxicity analysis was carried out following OEDC 423. The ethyl acetate extract of aerial parts (EtOAc-AP) exhibited the strongest antineoplastic activity on bladder cancer cell lines (IC50 = 21.33–25.28 µg/mL) by inducing apoptosis and inhibiting NFκB p65 and cell clonogenicity. EtOAc and n-butanol extracts showed moderate antiviral activity against human adenovirus type 5 and human simplex virus type I. Seventy four secondary metabolites (gallic and ellagic acid derivatives, phenolic acids, flavonoids, etc.) were identified in EtOAc-AP by UHPLC–HRMS. This extract induced no signs of acute toxicity in liver and kidney specimens of H-albino mice in doses up to 210 mg/kg. In conclusion, our study contributes substantially to the detailed pharmacological characterization of G. urbanum, thus helping the development of health-promoting phytopreparations.  相似文献

Solution-state nitroso monomer-azodioxide equilibria and conformational freedom of several aromatic dinitroso derivatives, differing in the spacer group between the aromatic rings, were studied by one- and two-dimensional variable temperature 1H NMR spectroscopy and by quantum chemical calculations. The proton signals of nitroso monomer-azodioxide mixtures revealed by low-temperature NMR were assigned and validated using B3LYP-D3/6-311+G(2d,p)/SMD level of theory. In almost all cases, a preference towards the formation of only one azodioxy isomer of aromatic dinitroso compounds was found, which was assigned to Z-dimer according to computational data. Nevertheless, the computed small energy difference between the Z- and E-isomer could not account for the extreme preference for Z-dimer formation, indicating an influence of entropic or solvent effects. The formation of shorter oligomers in solution was excluded based on integrated 1H NMR signal intensities. The experimental results indicated an average dimerization Gibbs energy of about ??5 kJ/mol at 223 K and were found to be in very good correlation with dimerization energies obtained by solution-phase optimization.
