The results of studying the mass spectrum of μ+μ?γγ systems produced in π?p collisions at 25 and 33 GeV/c presented. The wide-aperture magnetic spectrometer with a hodoscope γ-detector was used to identify muon pairs and photons. There is a clear peak in the mass spectrum which corresponds to the decay ω → π0μ+μ? previously not observed. We report very low temperature ( T) thermopower and resistivity ( rho) measurements on variable-density, two-dimensional hole systems confined to GaAs quantum wells. As the hole density is lowered from 1.49x10(11) cm(-2) to 0.14x10(11) cm(-2), the system crosses from an insulating ( drho / dT less, similar0) to a metallic regime ( drho / dT>0) and finally displays insulating behavior ( drho / dT<0). Diffusion thermopower shows a striking sign reversal in a narrow range of density in the metallic regime, suggesting a qualitative change in the conduction or the scattering mechanism. 相似文献

Results of study of the $K^ - \to \pi ^0 e^ - \overline \nu \gamma $ decay at the ISTRA+ setup are presented. We observed 4476 events of this decay. The branching ratio is found to be $R = \frac{{Br(K^ - \to \pi ^0 e^ - \overline \nu _e \gamma )}}{{Br(K^ - \to \pi ^0 e^ - \overline \nu _e )}}$ = (1.81±0.03(stat.)±0.07(syst.)) × 10?2 for E*γ > 10 MeV and θ*eγ > 10°. For comparison with the previous experiment the branching ratio with cuts E*γ > 10 MeV, 0.6 < cos θ*eγ < 0.9 is calculated: R = $\frac{{Br(K^ - \to \pi ^0 e^ - \overline \nu _e \gamma )}}{{Br(K^ - \to \pi ^0 e^ - \overline \nu _e )}}$ = (0.47±0.02(stat.) ± 0.03(syst.)) × 10?2. For the cuts E*γ > 30 MeV and θ*eγ > 20°, used in most theoretical papers, Br = (3.06 ± 0.09(stat.) ± 0.14(syst.)) × 10?4. For the asymmetry we get A ξ = ?0.015 ± 0.021. The optical properties of suspensions are studied in a wide range of concentrations. An expression for the polarization operator is obtained taking into account the contributions of two-and three-particle correlations. The extinction length l and the transport length l* are calculated in terms of a model of hard spheres. A detailed comparison of the results of calculations with experimental data is performed. In calculations, the structure factor is determined in the Percus-Yevick approximation, while the form factor is taken into account in the Rayleigh-Gans approximation and in terms of the Mie theory. It is shown that taking into account the contribution of three-particle correlations improves the agreement of the theory with experiment. It is found that, in the range of high suspension concentrations, the optical parameters are more sensitive to the choice of the model for the structure factor than for the form factor. 相似文献

Influence of structural characteristics on the thermal conductivity of polycrystalline diamond films

By analyzing the signal formed by the photoacoustic effect as a function of the light modulation frequency, it is shown that
this effect may be used to determine the thermal conductivity of diamond materials. The method is checked experimentally for
two types of polycrystalline diamond films grown by chemical vapor deposition with the gaseous medium activated by a dc discharge
and a microwave discharge. The data obtained on the thermal conductivity of the films are discussed with reference to the
results of an investigation of the optical absorption, Raman light scattering, and cathodoluminescence of similar films. It
is shown that the thermal conductivity of polycrystalline diamond films depends on the structural characteristics, which are
determined by the deposition conditions.
