[formula: see text] Using the Sharpless catalytic asymmetric dihydroxylation reaction on 5-aryl-2-vinylfurans, diols are produced in high enantioexcess. The resulting diols can be efficiently transformed into the spiroketal ring precursor of the antifungal compound papulacandin D. Stereoselective reduction of this precursor followed by a diastereoselective dihydroxylation completes the synthesis of a mannopyranoside isomer of a papulacandin derivative. 相似文献

[structure] An enantioselective synthesis of three diastereoisomers of the C-arylglycoside tricyclic spiroketal nucleus of the papulacandins has been achieved, in which the initial asymmetry was introduced via a Sharpless dihydroxylation of substituted 5-aryl-2-vinylfurans. A selective oxidation-reduction sequence converted the mannose isomer into the glucose isomer. This sequence can conveniently produce both the papulacandin ring system along with its enantiomer and diastereomers in only 10-14 steps from 3,5-dimethoxybenzyl alcohol in 5-8% overall yield. 相似文献

An efficient route to various sugar lactones has been developed. Key to the overall transformation is the sequential osmium-catalyzed dihydroxylation of 2,4-dienoates. The simplest (one-step/racemic) example of this reaction occurs when the dihydroxylation is performed with aqueous NMO in MeOH. When the first dihydroxylation is performed using the AD-mix procedure, an enantioselective variant results. When a matched AD-mix procedure is used for the second dihydroxylation, an exceedingly diastereo- and enantioselective synthesis of galacto-1,4-lactone results. [Reaction: see text] 相似文献

[reaction: see text] The enantioselective syntheses of 10-epi-anamarine and 5,10-epi,epi-anamarine have been achieved in 13 to 14 steps. The route relies upon an enantio- and regioselective Sharpless dihydroxylation of either dienoates or trienoates to establish the C-8 to C-11 stereochemistry. A diastereoselective Leighton allylation established the desired C-5 stereochemistry. The route also relies upon a ring-closing metathesis to establish the alpha,beta-unsaturated lactones. 相似文献

The de novo asymmetric syntheses of several partially acylated dodecanyl tri- and tetra-rhamnoside natural products (cleistriosides-5 and 6 and cleistetrosides-2 to 7) have been achieved (19-24 steps). The divergent route requires the use of three or less protecting groups. The asymmetry was derived via Noyori reduction of an acylfuran. [reaction: see text] A short and highly efficient route to D- and L-talo-gamma-lactones has been developed. The key transformation was the sequential osmium-catalyzed bis-dihydroxylation reaction of substituted 2,4-dienoates. When the first dihydroxylation reaction is performed on (2Z,4E)-dienoates with use of the Sharpless AD-mix procedure, a regio- and enantioselective dihydroxylation resulted along with an in situ lactonization. A subsequent dihydroxylation, using OsO4/NMO in MeOH conditions, resulted in an exceedingly diastereo- and enantioselective synthesis of talo-gamma-lactone. 相似文献

Three augmented penalty function algorithms are tested and compared with an ordinary penalty function algorithm for two demonstration optimal control problems. Although the augmented penalty function is quite helpful in solving control problems with terminal state constraints, the convergence can be improved significantly by providing systematic increases in the penalty constant. 相似文献

The indolizidine ring system is installed by a one-pot hydrogenolysis of both an azide and an O-Bn group along with an intramolecular reductive amination reaction. The asymmetry of swainsonine was introduced by Noyori reduction of an acylfuran.
