An unsymmetrical tetradentate Schiff base (H2L) was synthesized by the reaction of 3-methoxysalicylaldehyde, o-phenylenediamine, and salicylaldehyde in EtOH. H2L was characterized by single-crystallographic X-ray analysis. Its Co(II) and Mn(III) complexes ([CoL] and [MnLCl]) were prepared and immobilized on 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane functionalized silica gel. The immobilized materials were found to be efficient catalysts for epoxidation of styrene in the presence of tert-BuOOH in acetonitrile at 40 °C. The catalysts can be reused several times without significant loss of performance.  相似文献

In an effort to combine the favorable catalytic properties of Co3O4 and CeO2, nanocomposites with different phase distribution and Co3O4 loading were prepared and employed for CO oxidation. Synthesizing Co3O4-modified CeO2 via three different sol-gel based routes, each with 10.4 wt % Co3O4 loading, yielded three different nanocomposite morphologies: CeO2-supported Co3O4 layers, intermixed oxides, and homogeneously dispersed Co. The reactivity of the resulting surface oxygen species towards CO were examined by temperature programmed reduction (CO-TPR) and flow reactor kinetic tests. The first morphology exhibited the best performance due to its active Co3O4 surface layer, reducing the light-off temperature of CeO2 by about 200 °C. In contrast, intermixed oxides and Co-doped CeO2 suffered from lower dispersion and organic residues, respectively. The performance of Co3O4-CeO2 nanocomposites was optimized by varying the Co3O4 loading, characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and N2 sorption (BET). The 16–65 wt % Co3O4−CeO2 catalysts approached the conversion of 1 wt % Pt/CeO2, rendering them interesting candidates for low-temperature CO oxidation.  相似文献

A finite difference scheme with fourth order Runge-Kutta method is employed to determine the unsteady state temperature distribution in a plane slab with uniform heat generation. The plane slab is insulated on one face and subjected to convective and radiative cooling at the other face. The plane slab has a uniform initial temperature and the ambient environment as well as the fluid temperatures are assumed to be constant. Heat conduction is considered to be one dimensional. Results are presented in dimensionless charts over a wide range of parameters.
Instationäre Wärmeleitung mit gleichförmiger Wärmeerzeugung in einer Platte bei Kühlung durch Konvektion und Abstrahlung
Zusammenfassung Zur Ermittlung der instationären Temperaturverteilung in einer Platte mit gleichförmiger Wärmeerzeugung wird ein Differenzverfahren vierter Ordnung nach Runge-Kutta angewendet. Die ebene Platte ist einseitig isoliert und wird auf der anderen Seite durch Konvektion und Abstrahlung gekühlt. Zu Beginn befindet sich die Platte gleichförmig auf einer bestimmten Anfangstemperatur, die Temperaturen der umgebenden Objekte sowie des Fluids sind ebenfalls konstant. Der Wärmeleitungsvorgang sei eindimensional. Die Ergebnisse sind in dimensionsloser Form für einen weiten Parameterbereich in Diagrammform dargestellt.

The alterations of organic acids citrate, α-ketoglutarate, succinate, fumarate, malate production together with isocitrate lyase activity as a glyoxalate shunt enzyme, and antibiotic production of Streptomyces sp M4018 were investigated in relation to changes in the glucose, glycerol and starch concentrations (5–20 g/L) after identification as a strain of Streptomyces hiroshimensis based on phenotypic and genotypic characteristics. The highest intracellular citrate and α-ketoglutarate levels in 20 g/l of glucose, glycerol, and starch mediums were 399.47 ± 4.78, 426.93 ± 6.40, 355.84 ± 5.38 ppm and 444.81 ± 5.12, 192.96 ± 2.26, 115.20 ± 2.87 ppm, respectively. The highest succinate, malate, and fumarate levels were also determined in 20 g/l of glucose medium as 548.9 ± 11.21, 596.15 ± 8.26, and 406.42 ± 6.59 ppm and the levels were significantly higher than the levels in glycerol and starch. Extracellular organic acid levels measured also showed significant correlation with carbon source concentrations by showing negative correlation with pH levels of the growth medium. The antibiotic production of Streptomyces sp. M4018 was also higher in glucose medium as was the case also for organic acids when compared with glycerol. We study a first-order method to find the minimum cross-sectional area ellipsoidal cylinder containing a finite set of points. This problem arises in optimal design in statistics when one is interested in a subset of the parameters. We provide convex formulations of this problem and its dual, and analyze a method based on the Frank–Wolfe algorithm for their solution. Under suitable conditions on the behavior of the method, we establish global and local convergence properties. However, difficulties may arise when a certain submatrix loses rank, and we describe a technique for dealing with this situation.  相似文献

The title compound, C27H27N5O3·H2O, is built up from pyrazolinone, phenyl and aceto­phenone oxime moieties. The 2‐­phenyl substituent is nearly perpendicular to the pyrazo­linone ring, with a dihedral angle of 87.66 (1)°. The aceto­phenone oxime moieties are twisted out of the pyrazolinone‐ring plane by 47.04 (1)°. The mol­ecules in the crystal pack in an antiparallel fashion and are held together by hydrogen‐bonded water mol­ecules and intermolecular O—H⋯O and O—H⋯N hydrogen bonds.  相似文献

In this study, steady-state turbulent forced flow and heat transfer in a horizontal smooth rectangular duct both experimentally and numerically investigated. The study was carried out in the transition to turbulence region where Reynolds numbers range from 2,323 to 9,899. Flow is hydrodynamically and thermally developing (simultaneously developing flow) under uniform bottom surface temperature condition. A commercial CFD program Ansys Fluent 12.1 with different turbulent models was used to carry out the numerical study. Based on the present experimental data and three-dimensional numerical solutions, new engineering correlations were presented for the heat transfer and friction coefficients in the form of $ {\text{Nu}} = {\text{C}}_{2} {\text{Re}}^{{{\text{n}}_{ 1} }} $ and $ {\text{f}} = {\text{C}}_{3} {\text{Re}}^{{{\text{n}}_{3} }} $ , respectively. The results have shown that as the Reynolds number increases heat transfer coefficient increases but Darcy friction factor decreases. It is seen that there is a good agreement between the present experimental and numerical results. Examination of heat and mass transfer in rectangular cross-sectioned duct for different duct aspect ratio (α) was also carried out in this study. Average Nusselt number and average Darcy friction factor were expressed with graphics and correlations for different duct aspect ratios.  相似文献

In this study, steady-state forced convection heat transfer and pressure drop characteristics in a horizontal rectangular cross-sectioned duct, baffles mounted on the bottom surface with different inclination angles were investigated experimentally in the Reynolds number range from 1 × 103 to 1 × 104. The study was performed under turbulent flow conditions. Effects of different baffle inclination angles on flow and heat transfer were studied. Results are also presented in terms of thermal enhancement factor. It is observed that increasing in baffle inclination angle enhances the heat transfer and causes an increase in pressure drop in the duct.  相似文献

We present the first integration of fluidically tunable filters with a separate particle detection channel on a single planar, optofluidic chip. Two optically connected, but fluidically isolated liquid-core antiresonant reflecting optical waveguide (ARROW) segments serve as analyte and spectral filter sections, respectively. Ultrasensitive detection of fluorescent nanobeads with high signal-to-noise ratio provided by a fluidically tuned excitation notch filter is demonstrated. In addition, reconfigurable filter response is demonstrated using both core index tuning and bulk liquid tuning. Notch filters with 43 dB rejection ratio and a record 90 nm tuning range are implemented by using different mixtures of ethylene glycol and water in the filter section. Moreover, absorber dyes and liquids with pH-dependent transmission in the filter channel provide additional spectral control independent of the waveguide response. Using both core index and pH control, independent filter tuning at multiple wavelengths is demonstrated for the first time. This extensive on-chip control over spectral filtering as one of the fundamental components of optical particle detection techniques offers significant advantages in terms of compactness, cost, and simplicity, and opens new opportunities for waveguide-based optofluidic analysis systems.  相似文献

This paper describes thin films comprising acenes dispersed in a conjugated polymeric host that have a ratiometric photoluminescence response to singlet oxygen. These films also respond to irradiation of protein-bound sensitizers, which represents a solution to the problem of protein-conjugated polymer non-specific interactions.  相似文献
