Using mathematical models, approximate trajectories of soil furrow subslices were determined and the forces occurring on the moldboard surface were calculated. The various components of the normal force along the trajectory line of the middle section of the furrow slice were analysed in relation to the velocity of plowing operation and the curvature of the path. The soil reaction forces encountered by the share portion of the plow were also determined by a model which used the method of trial wedges to determine the angle of the failure surface with the horizontal. The sum of the calculated forces was compared with that obtained by actual plowing experiments performed in the laboratory. 相似文献

We designed a de novo protein based on a circular permutant of RNaseT1, in which the enzymatic activity can be manipulated by engineered peptide binding. The circular permutant of RNaseT1 was obtained by tethering the original C- and N-termini with a GPAG linker and cleaving the molecule between Glu82 and Asn83. This mutant lacked enzymatic activity, due to the destabilization of entire protein structure. We previously reported the construction of ABC-type heterotrimeric coiled coil peptides, in which the A- and B-type peptides cannot form the folded trimeric structure without the C-type peptide. The introduction of the A- and B-type coiled coil peptides to the C- and N-termini of the circular permutant of RNaseT1, respectively, and the subsequent addition of the C-type coiled coil peptide enabled the RNaseT1 domain to refold properly, thus, restoring the enzymatic activity. The formation of the trimeric coiled coil structure should bring the cleaved sites of RNaseT1 close enough to refold the RNaseT1 domain spontaneously. 相似文献

By a simple process, 3-methoxyjuglone (= 8-hydroxy-2-methoxy-1,4-naphthoquinone; 9 ) has been synthesized from 1,2,4-trimethoxybenzene ( 5 ) and converted, after prenylation, to α-caryopterone ( 1 ; Scheme 1), a pyranojuglone pigment from Caryopteris clandonensis. On the other hand, juglone (= 5-hydroxy-1,4-naphthoquinone; 12 ) was regioselectively prenylated at C(2) via its 1-methoxy-cyclohexa-1,3-diene adduct 15 (Scheme 2). The 2-prenyljuglone ( 4 ) thus formed led to 1 after oxidation and other reactions. 相似文献

High axle loads, duration of strain as well as strain rate due to applied stresses, and field moisture condition have been found to contribute to compaction in the field. Numerous previous investigations on agricultural soil compaction were carried out with relatively dry soil. The aim of this study was to investigate the interrelationships between compaction, applied load, vehicle speed and a certain practical range of soil moisture content through a soil bin investigation of the compaction which results from the passage of a towed and a driven wheel. Soil pressure and the corresponding bulk density were analysed using a model proposed by Bailey et al. (J. agric Engng Res. 33, 257–262 (1986)) and ANOVA techniques. The results showed that compaction was higher at the higher moisture content level for both towed and driven conditions of the wheel, and that it was applied load that had the greatest contributory effect. Also, compaction was higher in the case of the driven wheel as compared to the towed wheel due to the phenomenon of slip sinkage. Bailey's model, it appears, can be utilized in the field for a practical estimation of compaction resulting from the passage of a towed wheel. 相似文献

A method (tentatively called ‘the method of equivalent sound source’) of predicting the sound attenuation achieved by multiple barriers with knife edges and/or right-angled wedges is proposed. This paper shows that the sound pressure level in the shadow region behind the multiple barriers can be obtained by successively setting imaginary sound sources for respective edges and/or wedges. The locations of the imaginary sound sources are determined by means of the traditional solution for sound attenuation by a single edge. The calculated results for several kinds of small-scale model, obtained by ‘the method of equivalent sound source’, are compared with experimental results. 相似文献
