The amplitude
0 of the interfacial free energy per unit area (or surface tension) of the body-centered-cubic Ising model is found using a direct monte carlo simulation technique. The combination

The synthesis of new P═O-disubstituted receptors with appended crown ethers and their properties as receptors for dicarboxylic acids have been studied. High affinities have been observed (oxalic and malonic acids with 4-, 5-, 6-, or 8-crown ethers). Binding of a cationic effector within the crown ether unit resulted in a positive "allosteric" effect, which has been determined to be K(rel) = 7 in the best case (binding of malonic acid with Li(+) @ rac-3b). 相似文献

The 193 nm laser irradiation of cyanoacetylene (HCCCN) that was isolated in rare gas solids led to a long-lived luminescence (origin at 3.58 eV), which was assigned to the a (3)Sigma(+)-X (1)Sigma(+) system of cyanoacetylide (CCCN(-)). The identification, which involved (15)N and (2)H isotopic substitution studies, is based on vibronic spacings in the phosphorescence spectrum (compared to previous infrared absorption measurements and to theoretical results regarding CCCN(-) vibrational frequencies), as well as on a BD(T)/cc-pVTZ prediction for the singlet-triplet energy gap in this anion (3.61 eV). The same emission was also generated from KrHC(3)N mixtures subjected to a glow electric discharge immediately before the solidification (cold-window-radial-discharge technique). 相似文献

We investigated the electronic structure of low-lying electronic states of Mn2 using a newly developed relativistic model core potential (spdsMCP). Calculations were performed at complete active space self-consistent field (CASSCF) and second-order multiconfiguration quasidegenerate perturbation theory (MCQDPT2) levels. The MCQDPT2 calculations reveal that the 1Σg+ state is the ground state. Calculated spectroscopic constants are very similar to the results of recent all-electron calculations and experimental values, indicating that the spdsMCP works well for Mn2, which requires a highly correlated calculation. The wave functions of low-lying states are also analyzed at the CASSCF level. 相似文献
