Palladium‐catalyzed C?H acetoxylation has been proposed as a key transformation in the first chemical synthesis of steroids bearing a unique 17β‐hydroxymethyl‐17α‐methyl‐18‐nor‐13‐ene D ‐fragment. This C?H functionalization step was crucial for inverting the configuration at the quaternary stereocenter of a readily available synthetic intermediate. The developed approach was applied to prepare the metandienone metabolite needed as a reference substance in anti‐doping analysis to control the abuse of this androgenic anabolic steroid.  相似文献

Water-soluble ZnSe/ZnS core–shell quantum dots with ZnSe core doped by manganese ions show different luminescence response to pH changes in aqueous solutions depending on the type of solubilizing agents (thioglycolic acid, mercaptoundecanoic acid, sodium mercaptopropylsulfonate). In the case of long-chain mercaptoundecanoic acid only excitonic emission is affected by pH changes. Short-chain thioglycolic acid brings about equal excitonic/Mn emission variations with pH, while mercaptopropylsulfonate-stabilized quantum dots are insensitive to pH. The mechanism discussed here is based on the competition between different relaxation channels for excited excitons in ZnSe: excitonic radiative recombination, energy transfer to Mn ion and the photogenerated electron trapping due to the presence of protonated carboxyl group. ZnSe:Mn/ZnS quantum dots stabilized with long-chain mercaptoacids may be used as a new type of fluorescence ratiometric pH-sensor or indicator.  相似文献

Fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET) in conjugates of CdSe-ZnS semiconductor nanocrystals of different shapes (FRET donors) and an Alexa Fluor organic dye (FRET acceptors) is examined. The dye molecules are chemically conjugated with quantum dots (QDs) or nanorods (NRs) in dimethyl sulfoxide colloidal solutions, and FRET efficiency in the purified conjugates is measured. The FRET from NR to a single dye molecule is less efficient than that of the QD-dye conjugates and this effect is explained in terms of distance-limited energy-transfer rate in the case of a point-like acceptor and extended donor dipoles. However, the larger surface area of NRs allows for many more dye acceptors to be bound, and the total FRET efficiency in NR-dye conjugates approaches those of QD-dye conjugates.  相似文献
