Multiparameter Polynomial Adaptive Stabilizers

In 1983 Morse proved, for unknown scalar one-dimensional linearsystems, the nonexistence of rational or polynomial universalstabilizers (UAS). In 1983, Nussbaum gave an example of an analyticUAS. In our paper, it is shown that there exist time-invariantpolynomial UAS's with multidimensional gain adaptation. Thedesign procedure is developed for linear, minimum-phase systemsof relative degree one. Convergence of the closed-loop systemis proved. Some numerical simulations are provided.     

Synthesis and structure of hexakis (p-hydroxyphenyloxy)benzene: A versatile analogue of the hydrogen-bonded hexameric unit of β-hydroquinone

The title hexaphenol (1), a direct analogue of the -hydroquinone hexameric unit, has been prepared by six-fold demethylation of hexakis (p-methoxyphenyloxy)benzene (2) with BBr₃. Host1 forms a trigonal adduct, space groupR3,a=22.088(3),c=12.232(3) Å, containing 6 molecules of pyridine per host molecule: a detailed X-ray study of this inclusion compound reveals a true clathrate structure, the closed cages of which accommodate a small, non-stoichiometric amount of water.     

A new ent-labdane eiterpenoid lactone from Andrographis paniculata

A new ent-labdane diterpenoid lactone with a new natural product was isolated from Andrographis paniculata. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of spectral evidences including 2D NMR.     

The force field and rz structure of Ketene

Recently determined Coriolis coupling constants for H₂ and D₂ Ketene, centrifugal distortion constants for H₂, HD, and D₂ Ketene have enabled 16 of the 19 parameters in the general force field of Ketene to be determined with significance, the ambiguity between the choice of two sets of A₁ and B₁ species force constants being removed. The r₀ structure has been redetermined using the latest values of the rotational constants of H₂, HD, and D₂ Ketene and an r_z structure has been determined for the first time.
