A graph is called 1-planar if it admits a drawing in the plane such that each edge is crossed at most once.In this paper,we study 1-planar graph joins.We prove that the join G + H is 1-planar if and only if the pair [G,H] is subgraph-majorized by one of pairs [C3 ∪ C3,C3],[C4,C4],[C4,C3],[K2,1,1,P3] in the case when both elements of the graph join have at least three vertices.If one element has at most two vertices,then we give several necessary/sufficient conditions for the bigger element.  相似文献

A graph is 1-planar if it has a drawing in the plane such that each edge is crossed at most once by another edge. Moreover, if this drawing has the additional property that for each crossing of two edges the end vertices of these edges induce a complete subgraph, then the graph is locally maximal 1-planar. For a 3-connected locally maximal 1-planar graph G, we show the existence of a spanning 3-connected planar subgraph and prove that G is Hamiltonian if G has at most three 3-vertex-cuts, and that G is traceable if G has at most four 3-vertex-cuts. Moreover, infinitely many nontraceable 5-connected 1-planar graphs are presented.  相似文献

We study improper interval edge colourings, defined by the requirement that the edge colours around each vertex form an integer interval. For the corresponding chromatic invariant (being the maximum number of colours in such a colouring), we present upper and lower bounds and discuss their qualities; also, we determine its values and estimates for graphs of various families, like wheels, prisms or complete graphs. The study of this parameter was inspired by the interval colouring, introduced by Asratian, Kamalian (1987). The difference is that we relax the requirement on the original colouring to be proper.  相似文献

Fast atom bombardment, combined with high-energy collision-induced tandem mass spectrometry, has been used to investigate gas-phase metal-ion interactions with captopril, enalaprilat and lisinopril, all angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors.Suggestions for the location of metal-binding sites are presented. For captopril, metal binding occurs most likely at both the sulphur and the nitrogen atom. For enalaprilat and lisinopril, binding preferably occurs at the amine nitrogen. Electrospray mass spectrometry/mass spectrometry was used to investigate the gas‐phase properties of protonated expanded porphyrins, in order to correlate those with their structure and conformation. We have selected five expanded meso‐pentafluorophenyl porphyrins, respectively, a pair of oxidized/reduced fused pentaphyrins (22 and 24 π electrons), a pair of oxidized/reduced regular hexaphyrins (26 and 28 π electrons) and a regular doubly N‐fused hexaphyrin (28 π electrons). The gas‐phase behavior of the protonated species of oxidized and reduced expanded porphyrins is different. The oxidized species (aromatic Hückel systems) fragment more extensively, mainly by the loss of two HF molecules. The reduced species (Möbius aromatic or Möbius‐like aromatic systems) fragment less than their oxidized counterparts because of their increased flexibility. The protonated regular doubly fused hexaphyrin (non‐aromatic Hückel system) shows the least fragmentation even at higher collision energies. In general, cyclization through losses of HF molecules decreases from the aromatic Hückel systems to Möbius aromatic or Möbius‐like aromatic systems to non‐aromatic Hückel systems and is related to an increase in conformational distortion.
