Preparation et caracterisation de complexes [cis-4,4′-dinitrodibenzo-18-couronne-6, LnCl3, 3CH3CN]

Some new complexes between thecis-4,4′-dinitrodibenzo-18-crown-6 and rare earth chlorides LnCl₃ (Ln=Nd, Gd, Yb) were synthesized in acetonitrile. Ligandcis-4,4′-dinitrodibenzo-18-crown-6 and its complexes were identified by infrared spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction and thermal analysis (TG and DTA). Acis-trans isomerisation of the complexed ligand is observed about 148°C when heating the rare earth complex.

     

New method for the differentiation of the isomers of aminophenol

Summary Pyridine-2,6-dialdehyde is used as a reagent in a very simple and fast method for differentiating between theo- andp-isomers of aminophenol.

SYNTHESIS AND REACTIONS OF SOME NEW HETEROCYCLIC COMPOUNDS CONTAINING THE THIENYLTHIENO[2,3-B]PYRIDINE MOIETY

(4-Aryl-3-cyano-6-(2-thienyl)pyridin-2-ylthio)acethydrazides (5a–c), 3-amino-4-aryl-6-(2-thienyl)thieno[2,3-b]pyridine-2-carbohydrazides (6a–c) and 3-amino-4-phenyl-6-(2-thienyl)thieno[2,3-b]pyridine-2-carboxylic acid (30) were prepared and employed as key intermediates in the synthesis of the title compounds.     

Order Norm Completions of Cone Metric Spaces

In this article, a completion theorem for cone metric spaces and a completion theorem for cone normed spaces are proved. The completion spaces are constructed by means of an equivalence relation defined via an ordered cone norm on the Banach space E whose cone is strongly minihedral and ordered closed. This order norm has to satisfy the generalized absolute value property. In particular, if E is a Dedekind complete Banach lattice, then, together with its absolute value norm, satisfy the desired properties.     

Quadratic differentials (A(z − a)(z − b)/(z − c)2) dz2 and algebraic Cauchy transform

We discuss the representability almost everywhere (a.e.) in C of an irreducible algebraic function as the Cauchy transform of a signed measure supported on a finite number of compact semi-analytic curves and a finite number of isolated points. This brings us to the study of trajectories of the particular family of quadratic differentials A(z ? a)(z ? b)×(z ? c)^?2 dz². More precisely, we give a necessary and sufficient condition on the complex numbers a and b for these quadratic differentials to have finite critical trajectories. We also discuss all possible configurations of critical graphs.
