Exact relations for the dependence of the positions of extrema of the aggregation work on the aggregation number axis on the surfactant monomer concentration are found for a dilute micellar solution. Relations for the half-widths of the vicinities of the extrema of the aggregation work are determined also. These half-widths are determined by the condition that, within the boundaries of their values, the aggregation work deviates from its extreme values by a thermal unit. The relations derived are illustrated by calculations based on the droplet and quasi-droplet models of spherical aggregates of nonionic surfactant. Some important applications of the obtained results to the theory of relaxation in micellar solutions are considered.  相似文献

An analytical expression is found for the steady-state rate of the homogeneous boiling-up of a liquid solution, that is, for the number of supercritical gas bubbles that emerge in a unit volume of this solution per unit time and afterwards grow uncontrollably. The diffusion, free molecular, and intermediate regimes of molecule exchange between the bubble and the solution are taken into account. The steady-state rates of the homogeneous boiling-up of cryogenic solutions are calculated.  相似文献

Analytical expressions for the direct and reverse fluxes of molecular aggregates over the first and second potential barriers of the aggregation work in the presence of spherical and cylindrical micelles in non-ionic surfactant solution were derived. Expressions for the sum (entering into kinetic equations of micellization) of direct and reverse fluxes of molecular aggregates over the first and second potential barriers of the aggregation work in the vicinity of the final equilibrium state of materially isolated surfactant solution were linearized. In the experimentally important range of the values of overall surfactant concentration in solution where the predominant contribution to the total surfactant amount is introduced by cylindrical micelles, we derived a closed system of two linearized relaxation equations determining the buildup (with time) of experimentally observed total concentrations of spherical and cylindrical micelles in the vicinity of the final equilibrium state of materially isolated surfactant solution. As a series of polyheterocyclic compounds for exploitation as anti-platelet agents, tricyclic heterocyclic compounds, 4-substituted 6,7-dihydro-5H-pyrimido[5,4-d][1]benzazepines 3–6, 9, 12–14 , and 16–26 , having nitrogen, oxygen, or sulfur containing functional groups at the 4-position, were prepared. In addition, tetra-cyclic heterocyclic compounds, 3-methyl-1,2,5,6-tetrahydro-4H-imidazo[1′,2′:1,6]pyrimido[5,4-d][1]benzaze-pinium chloride ( 7 ), 1,2,5,6-tetrahydro-4H-imidazo[1′,2′:1,6]pyrimido[5,4-d][1]benzazepines 10a-e , 2,3,6,7-tetrahydro-1H 5H-pyrimido[1′,2′:1,6]pyrimido[5,4-d][1]benzazepine ( 11 ), and 1,2,5,6-tetrahydro-4H-thiazolo-[3′,2′:1,6]pyrimido[5,4-d][1]benzazepinium chloride ( 15 ) via ring closure of 4-(hydroxyalkylamino)- 6, 9a-e , and 3c , and 4-(2-hydroxyethylthio)-6,7-dihydro-5H-pyrimido[5,4-d][1]benzazepine ( 14 ) with phosphoryl chloride or thionyl chloride, respectively, were also prepared. Their inhibitory activities against collagen-induced aggregation of rabbit blood platelets in vitro were investigated. Among them, compound 5 having a morpholino group at the 4-position on the tricyclic nucleus, which enhanced the activity more than 14-fold as compared with aspirin, was found to have the most satisfactory in inhibitory activity.  相似文献

We propose a statistico-probabilistic approach to investigate the process of homogeneous formation of droplets in a vapor phase in the presence of an already formed and growing droplet under free-molecular regime of droplet growth after the instantaneous creation of initial vapor supersaturation. We find the probability density for the formation of a new, nearest (neighbor) droplet in the vicinity of an initially formed droplet. The mean distance between two neighboring droplets is also determined, as well as the average time lag for the formation of the nearest (neighbor) droplet; the latter quantity serves as an estimate for the duration of the nucleation stage. An estimate for the average number of droplets forming in unit volume by the end of the nucleation stage is also given. Our results are compared with the predictions of classical nucleation theory which assumes the density uniformity of a metastable phase. Where the proposed approach is applicable, there is observed qualitative agreement between the results. The underlying cause of this agreement is analyzed and the limits of applicability of the uniformity approximation are clarified.  相似文献

Statistical regularities of homogeneous boiling-up of liquid solutions supersaturated with gas are studied. The local gas concentration and local rate of homogeneous boiling-up of the solution are found in the vicinity of the bubble emerging in the solution at low gas solubility. The probability of the emergence of new bubbles in addition to the bubble originally emerged in the solution is calculated. The mean distance between two neighboring bubbles and the relative statistical scatter of this distance are found. The mean number of bubbles in a solution unit volume by the end of the stage of their emergence is estimated. The mean expectation time of the emergence of the neighboring bubble estimating the duration of the stage of bubble emergence is established. The proposed theory is extended to the case of homogeneous nucleation in the vapor–gas medium.  相似文献

The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of temporal resolution on the estimation of left ventricular (LV) function by cardiac magnetic resonance (MR) imaging using a steady-state free precession (SSFP) sequence. Left ventricular function was assessed by cine MR imaging using a segmented SSFP sequence in 10 healthy volunteers. Views per segment (VPS) were set at 8 and 20, resulting in high and low true temporal resolution, respectively. Irrespective of VPS, images were reconstructed at 40 cardiac phases, providing high apparent temporal resolution. Data were analyzed using 40, 20 and 10 phases to simulate different apparent temporal resolutions. Increasing the cardiac phases used for analysis slightly decreased mean end-systolic volume (ESV) and slightly increased mean ejection fraction (EF). No substantial difference in estimates of end-diastolic volume (EDV) was found between VPSs of 8 and 20. Imaging with a VPS of 20 yielded a larger ESV and smaller EF than imaging with a VPS of 8 when 40 phases were used. In conclusion, low true temporal resolution causes overestimation of ESV and underestimation of EF. Improvement of apparent temporal resolution mildly reduces but does not eliminate the errors caused by low true temporal resolution.  相似文献

We studied the antiphase self-pulsation in a globally coupled three-mode laser operating in different optical spectrum configurations. We observed locking of modal pulsation frequencies, quasiperiodicity, clustering behaviors, and chaos, resulting from the nonlinear interaction among modes. The robustness of [p:q:r] three-frequency locking states and quasiperiodic oscillations against residual noise has been examined by using joint time-frequency analysis of long-term experimental time series. Two sharply antithetical types of switching behaviors among different dynamic states were observed during temporal evolutions; noise-driven switching and self-induced switching, which manifests itself in chaotic itinerancy. The modal interplay behind observed behaviors was studied by using the statistical dynamic quantity of the information circulation. Well-organized information flows among modes, which correspond to the number of degeneracies of modal pulsation frequencies, were found to be established in accordance with the inherent antiphase dynamics. Observed locking behaviors, quasiperiodic motions, and chaotic itinerancy were reproduced by numerical simulation of the model equations.  相似文献
