The method developed earlier for separating the components of a merging doublet of X-ray reflection lines is used to demonstrate that low-carbon martensite with a high concentration of carbide-forming components exhibits a high tetragonality c/a < 1. We find the family of instantons of the Kraichnan model with a frozen velocity field. Using these instantons, we investigate the asymptotic behavior of higher orders of the perturbation theory series constructed for the response function. We demonstrate that although the number of diagrams increases factorially with the degree of the perturbation series term, the perturbation series itself has a finite and sometimes even infinite convergence radius. In asymmetric blowing of a gas into the supersonic part of a nozzle the main flow is perturbed by the jet which is being blown. Two interaction regimes are distinguished. In the first the perturbation of the main flow does not extend to the side of the nozzle opposite to the blast: the central angle subtended by the perturbation of the exit section of the nozzle is 2a < 180 ° (Fig. 1). This regime is characterized by the fact that the curvature of the nozzle has no effect on the magnitude of the lateral force. In the second regime the zone of the perturbed flow extends to the side of the nozzle opposite to the blast (2a > 180 °), and this leads to a decrease in the gradient of the lateral force with respect to the flow rate of the gas which is being blown. The interrelation between the transport properties of pervaporation membranes (used to separate toluene-n-heptane mixtures) and the structure of poly-γ-benzyl-L-glutamate diffusion layers has been studied. The decrease in the membrane selectivity while increasing the flux at the transition from 3 to 50 wt % toluene in the mixture under separation is accompanied by a change in the ordered structure of poly-γ-benzyl-L-glutamate structure without variation in the α-helical conformation of the polypeptide chain.  相似文献

The discharge from a metallic edge along the surface of a dielectric with dielectric constant of the order of 100 or larger is investigated. The dependences of the rate of expansion of the discharge, the time lag, and the volt-ampere characteristics are obtained for exposure times of the order of 10–9 sec for plates made of barium titanate, titanium dioxide, and steatite ceramicwith thickness of the order of 1 mm or less at voltages up to 1.5 kV of different polarity. The average rate of expansion of the figure of luminosity after a time of 3 nsec is equal to 106 cm/sec in order of magnitude. It is shown that from a negative point the discharge is initiated by the self-electron emission current, while from a positive point it is initiated by the self-ionization current. Pulse breakdown on gaps of millimeter order at substantial overvoltages is explained in terms of a discharge mechanism involving photoelectric emission from the cathode followed by collisional multiplication in the gas to give avalanches. The potentiality of inverse gas chromatography to predict separating properties of pervaporation membranes is studied for the example of a membrane composed of a mixture of polyvinyl alcohol and polyacrylic acid. Correlation relationships between the retention time of substances and relative rate of their mass transfer across the membrane were derived. A comparative method for assessment of the membrane selectivity was suggested proposed, and its consistency was checked for pervaporation separation of methanol-methyl acetate-water-acetic acid, methanol-toluene, and ethanol-ethyl acetate mixtures, including those with an azeotropic composition.  相似文献
