Since the introduction of percutaneous coronary intervention for coronary artery disease, thousands of patients have been treated with the implantation of coronary stents. Moreover, several of the patients with coronary stent undergo cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) imaging every year. This case report is of a 77-year-old man who was previously treated with the implantation of a coronary stent in the left circumflex artery. He underwent CMR imaging, which revealed a process 14×21 mm in the left atrium. Cardiac contrast computed tomography did not demonstrate any cardiac pathology. While the signal loss on MRI associated with implanted metallic devices is known, we report a case where an implanted coronary stent in the left circumflex artery led to an intracardiac signal loss mimicking intracardiac thrombus/tumor. 相似文献

The YbSi interface has been investigated in the sub-monolayer regime employing Ion Scattering Spectroscopy (ISS), Auger Electron Spectroscopy (AES) and Low Energy Electron Diffraction (LEED). Three different structures, YbSi(111) 2x1, YbSi(111) 5x1, and YbSi(111) 3x1, have been established by heat treatments of the interfaces. The structures consist of a stable overlayer of Yb atoms on the Si(111) surfaces. The distance of the Yb atoms to the uppermost layer of Si atoms has been estimated by comparing the YbSi ISS intensity ratio with the predictions of a model based on classical scattering theory and a Thomas-Fermi-Moliére potential. The height of the Yb atoms relative to the substrate toplayer was found to be 1.9 ± 0.3→. 相似文献

Experimental results on late auditory evoked magnetic fields from the right side of the human brain are presented. It is shown that the results can be described by means of a source model consisting of a single, equivalent current-dipole with a dipole moment of ≈ 10?8 A m and a location close to the electrode position T4 and between 10 and 25 mm below the surface of the skull. 相似文献
