A post-column infusion system was developed in order to analyze suppression of electrospray ionization (ESI) tandem mass spectrometry response in the presence of endogenous plasma interferences. By enabling direct detection of these interfering components, this experimental system was used to analyze the ability of several common extraction procedures to remove endogenous plasma components that cause changes in the ESI response of model drug substances. Methyl-t-butyl ether (MTBE) liquid-liquid, Oasis and Empore solid-phase, and acetonitrile (ACN) protein precipitation sample preparation methods were tested using the post-column infusion system. In all cases, ACN protein precipitation samples showed the greatest amount of ESI response suppression while liquid-liquid extracts demonstrated the least. In addition, the three test compounds, phenacetin, caffeine, and a representative Merck compound, demonstrated that ESI response suppression is compound dependent. Suppression was greatest with caffeine, the most polar analyte, and the smallest for the Merck compound, the least polar analyte. Copyright 1999 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd. 相似文献

Using the parallel/orthogonal space method, we calculate the planar two-loop three-point diagram and two rotated reduced planar
two-loop three-point diagrams. Together with the crossed topology, these diagrams are the most complicated ones in the two-loop
corrections necessary, for instance, for the decay of the Z0 boson. Instead of calculating particular decay processes, we present a new algorithm which allows us to perform arbitrary
next-to-next-to-leading order (NNLO) calculations for massive planar two-loop vertex functions in the general mass case. All
integration steps up to the last two are performed analytically and will be implemented under xloops as part of the Mainz xloops-GiNaC project. The last two integrations are done numerically using methods like VEGAS and Divonne. Thresholds originating
from Landau singularities are found and discussed in detail. In order to demonstrate the numerical stability of our methods
we consider particular Feynman integrals which contribute to different physical processes. Our results can be generalized

The solar-neutrino-capture rate measured by the Russian-American Gallium Experiment on metallic gallium during the period from January 1990 to December 1997 is (67.2 ?7.0?3.0 +7.2+3.5 ) SNU, where the uncertainties are statistical and systematic, respectively. We present measurements of the solar neutrino capture rate on metallic gallium in the Soviet-American gallium experiment (SAGE) over a period of slightly more than half the 22-year solar cycle. A combined analysis of 92 runs over the twelve-year period from January 1990 until December 2001 yields a capture rate of 70.8 ?5.2 +5.3 (stat) ?3.2 +3.7 (sys) SNU for solar neutrinos with energies above 0.233 MeV. This value is slightly more than half the rate predicted by the standard solar model, 130 SNU. We present the results of new runs since April 1998 and analyze all runs combined by years, months, and bimonthly periods beginning in 1990. A simple analysis of the SAGE results together with the results of other solar neutrino experiments gives an estimate of (4.6±1.2)× 1010 neutrinos cm?2 s?1 for the flux of the electron pp neutrinos that reach the Earth without changing their flavor. The flux of the pp neutrinos produced in thermonuclear reactions in the Sun is estimated to be (7.6 ± 2.0) × 1010 neutrinos cm?2 s?1, in agreement with the value of (5.95±0.06)×1010 neutrinos cm?2 s?1 predicted by the standard solar model. 相似文献
