The proof involves a counting argument based on families of closed sets associated with theSperner closures in the filters of ?. The Sperner closure ofU in ? is the intersection of the members of the greatest Sperner antichain of ? U = {V ∈ ?|V ?U}. We consider Dirichlet series zg,a(s)=?n=1 g(na) e-ln s{\zeta_{g,\alpha}(s)=\sum_{n=1}^\infty g(n\alpha) e^{-\lambda_n s}} for fixed irrational α and periodic functions g. We demonstrate that for Diophantine α and smooth g, the line Re(s) = 0 is a natural boundary in the Taylor series case λ n  = n, so that the unit circle is the maximal domain of holomorphy for the almost periodic Taylor series ?n=1 g(na) zn{\sum_{n=1}^{\infty} g(n\alpha) z^n}. We prove that a Dirichlet series zg,a(s) = ?n=1 g(n a)/ns{\zeta_{g,\alpha}(s) = \sum_{n=1}^{\infty} g(n \alpha)/n^s} has an abscissa of convergence σ 0 = 0 if g is odd and real analytic and α is Diophantine. We show that if g is odd and has bounded variation and α is of bounded Diophantine type r, the abscissa of convergence σ 0 satisfies σ 0 ≤ 1 − 1/r. Using a polylogarithm expansion, we prove that if g is odd and real analytic and α is Diophantine, then the Dirichlet series ζ g,α (s) has an analytic continuation to the entire complex plane.  相似文献

Background  

The mitotic exit network (MEN) is a group of proteins that form a signaling cascade that is essential for cells to exit mitosis in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The MEN has also been implicated in playing a role in cytokinesis. Two components of this signaling pathway are the protein kinase Dbf2 and its binding partner essential for its kinase activity, Mob1. The components of MEN that act upstream of Dbf2-Mob1 have been characterized, but physiological substrates for Dbf2-Mob1 have yet to be identified.  相似文献

We present a general control-theoretic framework for constructing and analyzing random decoupling schemes, applicable to quantum dynamical control of arbitrary finite-dimensional composite systems. The basic idea is to design the control propagator according to a random rather than deterministic path on a group. We characterize the performance of random decoupling protocols, and identify control scenarios where they can significantly weaken time scale requirements as compared to cyclic counterparts. We describe a quantum algorithm that solves combinatorial optimization problems by quantum simulation of a classical simulated annealing process. Our algorithm exploits quantum walks and the quantum Zeno effect induced by evolution randomization. It requires order 1/sqrt delta steps to find an optimal solution with bounded error probability, where delta is the minimum spectral gap of the stochastic matrices used in the classical annealing process. This is a quadratic improvement over the order 1/delta steps required by the latter.  相似文献
