The reactions of 4-amino derivatives of imidazo[4.5-c]pyridin-2-ones with -bromomethylketones have been studied. Depending on the nature of the reagents and the reaction conditions, either 5-acylmethyl salts of the starting amine or 2-substituted imidazo[4.5-c]imidazo[1,2-a]pyridin-8-ones can be obtained. The influence of the high background rates on the Cathode Strip Chamber (CSC) anode trigger ability has been studied. The investigation has been made with a P3 prototype of the CSC of ME1/1 Endcap muon station of the CMS experiment (CERN). The work has been done at the Gamma Irradiation Facility (GIF, CERN). P3 has been installed at the SPS X5c muon beam line in a background field of 137Cs source. The CSC timing resolution and the track registration efficiency as a function of gamma rate are presented. The aim of this work is to estimate the shower leakage from the CMS Endcap Hadron calorimeter (HE) due to electromagnetic secondaries and punch-through in the region of the ME1/1 Forward Muon Station. Two configurations are considered: with and without the CMS Endcap Electromagnetic calorimeter (EE). The experimental data have been taken during the combined beam test of CMS subdetectors (HE, ME, RPC, DT) at the CERN H2 beam facility in 2004. Serial CSC chambers (ready for installation in CMS) fully equipped with readout electronics have been exposed. Simulation of a beam test setup has been performed using the GEANT4-based simulation software package OSCAR. The text was submitted by the authors in English.  相似文献

The absorption spectra of strongly doped InAs and solid solutions InAs-CdTe, dependent on composition, were studied at various temperatures within the range of energies corresponding to intrinsic transitions. The cyclotron IC-100 station, based on the Laboratory of Nuclear Reactions (JINR, Dubna, Russia), provides the industrial construction of nuclear filters. During modernization, the cyclotron was equipped with a superconducting ECR-ion source and an axial injection system. The specialized beam channel with a two coordinate scanning system and equipment for irradiating polymer films was installed in the implantation part of the station. High intensity heavy ion beams of Ne, Ar, Fe, Kr, Xe, I, and W have been accelerated to 1 MeV/nucleon energy. The investigation into irradiated crystals features and irradiation of different polymer films is provided. Also, a few thousands square meters of track films with holes in the wide range of densities were produced. The cyclotron-based station is capable of solving different kinds of scientific and applied problems as well. The text was submitted by the authors in English.  相似文献

The conditions of the synthesis of a magnetically active compound by redox transformation of iron(II) and chromium(VI) ions were determined. Under the synthesis conditions, the chromium compounds are recovered from the solution virtually completely. The use of technical-grade lignosulfonates in the step of the condensation of the magnetically active compound leads to considerable enhancement of the magnetic activity.  相似文献

The structural properties of multiplayer AlxGa1−x As/GaAs/AlxGa1−x As systems (x ≈ 0.2) grown on GaAs(001) substrates are studied by the methods of double-crystal X-ray diffractometry and reflectometry. The depth profiles of deformation, amorphization, and density of the layers are obtained. It is shown that despite small differences (5–7%) in the densities of the AlxGa1−x As layers and the substrate and the small thickness of the AlAs layer (1–2 nm) separating the GaAs quantum well, it is possible to reconstruct the heterostructure model by the method of X-ray reflectometry and to determine the thickness of the transitional layers at a resolution of 0.1–0.2 nm. It is also established that the reflectometry data obtained complement the X-ray diffraction data considerably and allow one to estimate the roughness and the character of the aluminum distribution at the interfaces. __________ Translated from Kristallografiya, Vol. 50, No. 5, 2005, pp. 801–812.
