A Trigger of Coupled Singularities

By using example of nonlinear dynamics of a pair of coupled gears, the phenomenon of appearance and disappearance of a trigger of coupled singularities and homoclinic orbits in the form of number eight in the phase portrait in the phase plane is investigated. That phenomenon is an accompanying phenomenon of loss of stability of the local unique equilibrium position. For a generalized case under certain conditions, a theorem of the appearance of a trigger of coupled singularities in a nonlinear dynamical conservative system, the first derivative of the system potential energy which is a product of two periodic functions with different periods, and one bifurcation parameter, which is the cause for the appearance of new roots of these two functions, is defined.     

Thermal Properties Of ZrTe5

High resolution specific heat measurements have been performed in the temperature range 60-190K. Two very weak anomalies were found around 80K and 140K. Thermal conductivity measurements have also been performed and there was no detectable anomaly. The results are discussed in view of actual proposed interpretations.     

Dynamics of coupled systems

A survey in the form of a review of the author’s research results in the area of dynamics of coupled rotations and coupled systems is presented. The theorem on the existence of a trigger of the coupled singularities and the separatrix in the form of the number eight is presented with a few examples of coupled rotations of the simple systems with debalances. Also, a survey of models and dynamics of coupled systems composed of a number of deformable bodies (plates, beams or belts) with different properties of materials and discrete layer properties is presented and mathematically described. The constitutive stress–strain relations for materials of the coupled sandwich structure elements are presented for different properties: elastic, viscoelastic and creeping. The characteristic modes of the coupled system vibrations are obtained and analyzed for different kinds of materials and structure composition. The visualization of the characteristic numbers and modes and eigenamplitude forms are presented. Structural analysis of sandwich structure vibrations is done.     

Mass moment vector applications to the multi body dynamics with coupled rotations about no intersecting axes

Multi body system contains finite number of rigid bodies that are placed on each axis, which do not intersect each other. Derivatives of the linear momentum and angular momentum with respect to time by use mass moment vectors and vector rotators for pole and axis, are determined. A number of theorems are defined. Peptide-mediated blood-brain barrier transport of polymersomes

A polymeric nanocarrier: Polymersomes tagged with a dodecamer peptide that recognizes gangliosides GM1 and GT1b are shown to cross the blood-brain barrier, both in an in?vitro model and in?vivo. The combination of polymeric vesicles with a small GM1-binding peptide and GM1/GT1b gangliosides as targeting sites for blood-brain barrier transport is unprecedented.     

Carbon-13 chemical shifts of inverted carbon atoms

The inverted carbons in 2,4-methano-2,4-dehydroadamantane are shielded by 14.3 ppm relative to the corresponding carbons in 2,4-methanoadamantane. This was explained by the balance of the inverted carbon hybridization deshielding, the shielding effect of the cyclopropane rings formed, and the change in the influence of the neighbouring atoms.     

Synthese von pyridylphenyl-imidazo[2,1-b]thiazolen

The synthesis of the isomeric 6(5)-phenyl-5(6)-pyridyl-2,3-dihydroimidazo[2,1-b]thiazoles are described. Only the synthesis of 5-phenyl-6-(2-pyridyl)-2,3-dihydroimidazo[2,1-b]thiazole failed.     

Energy analysis in a nonlinear hybrid system containing linear and nonlinear subsystems coupled by hereditary element

Energy transfer between subsystems coupled by standard light hereditary element in hybrid system is very important for different engineering applications, especially for dynamical absorption. An analytical study of the energy transfer between coupled linear and nonlinear oscillators in the free vibrations of a viscoelastically connected double-oscillator system as a new hybrid nonlinear system with two and half degrees of freedom is pointed out. The analytical study shows that the viscoelastic–hereditary connection between oscillators causes the appearance of like two-frequency regimes of subsystem's vibrations and that the energy transfer between subsystems appears. The Lyapunov exponents corresponding to each of two eigenmodes of the hybrid system, as well as to the subsystems are obtained and expressed by using energy of the corresponding eigentime components. The Lyapunov exponents are measures of the vibration processes stability in the hybrid system and in component subsystem vibrations. Modeling the coupling of reaction kinetics and hydrodynamics in a collapsing cavity

We introduce a model of cavitation based on the multiphase Lattice Boltzmann method (LBM) that allows for coupling between the hydrodynamics of a collapsing cavity and supported solute chemical species. We demonstrate that this model can also be coupled to deterministic or stochastic chemical reactions. In a two-species model of chemical reactions (with a major and a minor species), the major difference observed between the deterministic and stochastic reactions takes the form of random fluctuations in concentration of the minor species. We demonstrate that advection associated with the hydrodynamics of a collapsing cavity leads to highly inhomogeneous concentration of solutes. In turn these inhomogeneities in concentration may lead to significant increase in concentration-dependent reaction rates and can result in a local enhancement in the production of minor species.
