Tetraoctylammonium cation forms a room-temperature molten salt (RTMS) with 2,4,6-trinitrophenolate anion. The RTMS is immiscible with water (W) and forms a stable RTMS/W interface. It has been shown that the RTMS/W interface can be electrochemically polarized. A well-defined voltammetric wave due to the transfer of thiocyanate ion across the RTMS/W interface was observed within the potential window. This is the first example of a polarized RTMS/W interface.  相似文献

Y3Al5O12:Ce3+ (YAG:Ce3+) nanocrystals were synthesized in 1,4-butylene glycol (BG) with and without poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) by the glycothermal method. The internal quantum efficiency of the photoluminescence (PL) corresponding to the 5d --> 4f transition of Ce3+ in the YAG:Ce3+ nanocrystal increased from 21.3 to 37.9% by addition of PEG, while no appreciable change in the primary particle size, the crystallite size, and the lattice distortion was recognized by transmission electron microscopy and X-ray diffractometry. The thermogravimetry-differential thermal analysis, Fourier transform infrared absorption spectroscopy and 1H --> 13C cross-polarization magic angle spinning nuclear magnetic resonance (CP-MAS NMR) confirmed the preferential coordination of PEG to the YAG:Ce3+ nanocrystal. 27Al single-pulse excitation MAS NMR reveals that the ratio of the 4-fold coordination site to the 6-fold coordination site increased from 0.53 to 0.72 by addition of PEG. We conclude that the surface modification of the YAG:Ce3+ nanocrystal by PEG induces the surface passivation, the prevention of the oxidation of Ce3+ to Ce4+, the promotion of the incorporation of Ce3+ into YAG and the local structural rearrangement, resulting in the PL enhancement.  相似文献

This study investigates the recovery of electric resistivity in pure iron, Fe–0.6Ni and Fe–1.5Mn as related to isochronal annealing following 1 MeV proton irradiation at lower temperature than 70 K, focusing on the relationship between solute atoms and irradiation defects. Both nickel and manganese prevent stage ID recovery, which corresponds to correlated recombination. Stage II recovery is also changed by the addition of a solute, which corresponds to the migration of small interstitial clusters. In both pure iron and Fe–0.6Ni, no evident difference was observed in the stage III region, which corresponds to the migration of vacancies. In contrast, two substages appeared in the Fe–1.5Mn at a higher temperature than stage IIIB appeared in pure iron. These substages are considered to represent the release of irradiation-induced defects, which was trapped by manganese.  相似文献

We have observed scanning tunneling microscope light emission (STM-LE) spectra of Ge2Sb2Te5 and Sb2Te3. Although these chalcogenide alloys exhibit band gaps less than 0.5 eV, the STM-LE was observed with a narrow spectral width at a photon energy of 1.5 eV for both materials. By analyzing its bias voltage, polarity, and temperature dependencies combined with recently reported theoretical electronic structures, we concluded that the STM-LE is excited by electronic transitions taking place in the local electronic structure having a direct gap-like shape with a band gap of 1.5 eV, commonly found in the electronic structures of both materials.  相似文献

In previous papers, one of the authors (K. K.) has observed the anomalous melting of the surface layer of deuteron implanted Al, containing so-called "tunnel structures", on the electron bombardment in transmission electron microscope. In the present paper, we intended to observe the evidence of the d-d nuclear reaction, expecting neutron emission, associated with the melting phenomenon. However, the result was rather unexpected. The melting phenomenon was certainly observed under the same experimental conditions as before. But, in spite of the melting, neutron emission associated with the nuclear reaction was not observed. And, more unexpectedly, X-ray emission of energy less than roughly 400 v keV was observed when specimens with a bubble structure, which never showed melting, were bombarded with electron beams. Several conceivable mechanisms are discussed which, however, are all not convincing to explain the melting. The melting is attributed to some excess energy generation. The error estimation of the radiation measurements was undertaken.  相似文献

We now report the formation and characterization of water-soluble hetero-capsules 1·2 resulting from the ionic interactions between positively charged flexible aniline hydrochloride 1 and negatively charged phosphonate 2 having rigid homooxacalix[3]arene units. The formation of the molecular capsules was studied by NOESY, DOSY NMR spectroscopy and ESI-Mass spectrometry. The water solubility of the capsules is improved by the introduction of mono- or triethylene glycol substituents in the homooxacalix[3]arene-based phosphonate units 2.  相似文献

The transfer of polyammonium ions, poly[(dimethylimino)-1,6-hexanediyl] (n = 140, n being the degree of polymerization) ion and poly[(dimethylimino)(2-oxo-1,2-ethanediyl)imino-alpha,omega-alkanediylimino(1-oxo-1,2-ethanediyl)(dimethylimino)-alpha',omega'-alkanediyl] ([-N+ (CH3)2CH2CONH(CH2)x NHCOCH2N+ (CH3)2(CH2)y-]n, x = 2, 3, 4, or 6, y = 3 or 6, and n = 30-130) ions, at a polarizable nitrobenzene / water interface has been studied by normal pulse voltammetry and cyclic voltammetry. Despite the polydispersity of the preparations, by normal pulse voltammetry, an S-shaped current-potential curve with a well-defined limiting current, and, by cyclic voltammetry, a pair of anodic and cathodic peak currents due to the transfer of polyammonium ions across the interface were observed within the potential window. The voltammetric behavior is described. Also, the effect of ion-pair formation of the polyammonium ions with supporting electrolyte anions in nitrobenzene- and water-phases on the half-wave or midpoint potential of the ion-transfer, and the relation between the structure of the polyammonium ions and the transfer potentials are discussed.  相似文献

The transfer of F- ion assisted by an organometallic complex cation tetraphenylantimony (TPhSb+) across the polarized nitrobenzene / water (NB / W) interface has been studied by means of ion-transfer voltammetry. A well-defined voltammetric wave was observed within the potential window at the NB / W interface when tetraphenylantimony tetrakis(4-chlorophenyl) borate and F- ion were present in NB and W, respectively. The voltammogram can be interpreted as being due to the reversible transfer of F- ion assisted by the formation of the TPhSbF complex through the coordination of F- to Sb atom in NB. The formal formation constant of TPhSbF in NB has been determined to be 10(1.95 +/- 0.2 M(-1). No voltammetric wave due to the TPhSb(+)-assisted transfer of other anions such as Cl-, Br, I-, NO3-, CH3COO- and H2PO4(-) ions has been observed within the potential window.  相似文献
