Noncollinear difference frequency mixing of dye laser and Nd:YAG second harmonic (fundamental) radiation from a commercial laser system is employed for the generation of 2.7–5.3 μm (1.6–1.7 μm) radiations in a flux-grown KTiOAsO1 crystal. The generated radiation is used to scan the methane absorption in the fundamental (v 3) and its first overtone (2v 3) band at pressure 90 torr in a laboratory made single pass gas cell of length 33 cm.  相似文献

The problem of a random Hermitian perturbation of a multiple isolated eigenvalue of a Hermitian operator is considered. It is shown that the combined multiplicities of the perturbed eigenvalues converge in probability to the multiplicity of the eigenvalue of the target operator. Also the asymptotic distribution of a certain average of these eigenvalues, centered at the target, is obtained. As a tool differentiation of analytic functions of operators is employed in conjunction with an ensuing “delta-method”. The result is of a probabilistic rather than statistical nature.  相似文献

In this paper some useful mathematical tools for the analysis of functional data are applied to the problem of testing the equality of two covariance operators. The test to be used is derived from a univariate likelihood ratio test in conjunction with Roy’s union-intersection principle. The asymptotic distribution and asymptotic power against rather general local alternatives are calculated. Perturbation theory of operators, in particular, a delta-method for smooth functions of operators, is exploited to obtain these theoretical results that are corroborated by some simulations.  相似文献

Using the Thomas-Fermi quark model,a collective,spherically symmetric density of states is created to represent a gas of interacting fermions with various degeneracies at zero temperature.Over a family of pentaquarks,uudcc,color interaction probabilities were obtained after averaging over all the possible configurations.Three different functions are developed for light,charm,and anti-charm quarks and are assumed to be linearly related by some proportionality constants.Interesting patterns of quark distributions are observed while analyzing the quark function consistency conditions for such constants.  相似文献

In this paper we shall study three binary alloy systems, one constituent of which is Mn. The other constituents are chosen from a particular column of the periodic table: Ni(3d), Pt (4d) and Pd (5d). As we go down the column, the d-bands become wider, discouraging spin-polarization. In a disordered alloy, the situation becomes more complicated, as the exchange interaction between two atoms is environment dependent. We shall compare and contrast their magnetic behaviour using robust electronic structure techniques. In all three alloy systems conjectures are made to explain experimental data. In this paper we shall examine whether there is any basis to these conjectures.  相似文献

The half-metallicity of Heusler alloys is quite sensitive to high pressure and disorder. To understand this phenomenon better, we systematically studied the half-metallic nature, magnetism, phonon, and thermomechanical properties of FeCrTe and FeCrSe Heusler alloys under high pressure using ab initio calculations based on density functional theory. The ground-state lattice constants for FeCrTe and FeCrSe alloys are 5.93 and 5.57 Å, respectively, consistent with available theoretical results. Formation energy, cohesive energy, elastic constants, and phonon dispersion confirmed that both compounds are thermodynamically and mechanically stable. The FeCrTe and FeCrSe alloys showed a half-metallic character with a band gap of 0.68 and 0.58 eV at 0 GPa pressure, respectively, and magnetic moments of 2.01 μB for both alloys, using generalized gradient approximation (GGA) approximation. FeCrTe alloy changes from metallic to half-metallic above 30 GPa pressure using GGA + U. The elastic properties were scrutinized, and it was found that, at 0 GPa pressure, FeCrTe is ductile, and FeCrSe is brittle. Under pressure, FeCrSe becomes brittle above 10 GPa pressure. Average sound velocity Vm, Debye temperature ƟD, and heat capacity CV were predicted under pressure. These outcomes will improve the integration of Fe-based half-Heusler alloys in spintronic devices.  相似文献
