In a spin space, with noncommutative spinorial coordinatesC A which satisfyx AB =1/2{C A ,C *B }, we investigatex-dependent spin coordinate transformations which correspond to a local fermi-bose symmetry. A concept of a spin vector corresponding to these local transformations is established, and spin space is provided with a spinorial vierbein field which determines non-nil-potent line and volume elements which are direct generalizations of the conventional relativistic ones.  相似文献

Space-time is provided with an underlying SL(2,C) spin space with complex noncommutative spinor coordinatesC A which satisfy . It is shown that the orbital angular momentum operator has a realization in this space as a derivative operator which can take on half-integral spin values, and the graded Lie algebra which describes the structure of the spin space is discussed. The spin-space translations mix fermi and bose fields and produce space-time translations which are not nil-potent. A hermitean metric with a line element which is invariant under such localx-dependent translations is introduced.  相似文献

Ten laboratories participated in an interlaboratory method-performance (collaborative) study of a method for the determination of mercury in foods of marine origin by flow injection-cold vapor atomic absorption spectrometry after wet digestion using a microwave oven technique. The study was preceded by a training round of samples of known identity. The method was tested on a total of 7 seafood products: blue mussel (Mytilus edulis), cod muscle (Gadus morhua), crab (Cancer pagurus), scampi (Nephrops norwegicus), black scabbard fish (Aphnopus carbo), longnose velvet dogfish (Centroscymus crepidater), and Portuguese dogfish (Cenbroscymus coelolepis) with mercury concentrations of 0.14, 0.24, 0.35, 0.59,11.42, 4.2, and 13.2 microg/g, respectively. The materials were presented to the participants in the study as blind duplicates, and the participants were asked to perform single determinations on each sample. Repeatability relative standard deviations (RSDr) for mercury ranged from 2.4 to 14.0%. Reproducibility relative standard deviations (RSDR) ranged from 7.7 to 16.6%. HORRAT values for all samples were <1.0.  相似文献

The denatured state of a protein contains important information about the determinants of the folding process. By combining site-directed spin-labeling NMR experiments and restrained computer simulations, we have determined ensembles of conformations that represent the denatured state of the bovine acyl-coenzyme A binding protein (ACBP) at three different concentrations of guanidine hydrochloride. As the experimentally determined distance information corresponds to weighted averages over a broad ensemble of structures, we applied the experimental restraints to a system of noninteracting replicas of the protein by using a Monte Carlo sampling scheme. This procedure permits us to sample ensembles of conformations that are compatible with the experimental data and thus to obtain information regarding the distribution of structures in the denatured state. Our results show that the denatured state of ACBP is highly heterogeneous. The high sensitivity of the computational method that we present, however, enabled us to identify long-range interactions between two regions, located near the N- and C-termini, that include both native and non-native elements. The preferential formation of these contacts suggests that the sequence-dependent patterns of helical propensity and hydrophobicity are important determinants of the structure in the denatured state of ACBP.  相似文献

Manganese phthalocyanine (MnPc) and copper phthalocyanine (CuPc)-modified electrodes were prepared using multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) as a support material. The catalyst materials were heat treated at four different temperatures to investigate the effect of pyrolysis on the oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) activity of these electrocatalysts. The MWCNT to metal phthalocyanine ratio was varied. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) was employed to visualise the surface morphology of the electrodes and the x-ray photoelectron spectroscopic (XPS) study was carried out to analyse the surface composition of the most active catalyst materials. The ORR was studied in 0.1 M KOH solution employing the rotating disk electrode (RDE) method. Glassy carbon (GC) electrodes were modified with carbon nanotube-supported metal phthalocyanine catalysts using Tokuyama AS-4 ionomer. The RDE results revealed that the highest electrocatalytic activity for ORR was achieved upon heat treatment at 800 °C. CuPc-derived catalyst demonstrated lower catalytic activity as compared to the MnPc-derived counterpart, which is in good agreement with previous literature, whereas the activity of MnPc-based catalyst was higher than that reported earlier.  相似文献

The problem of generally covariant extension of Lorentz invariant field equations, by means of covariant derivatives extracted from the nonsymmetric unified field, is considered. It is shown that the contracted curvature tensor can be expressed in terms of a covariant gauge derivative which contains the gauge derivative corresponding to minimal coupling, if the universal constantp, characterizing the nonsymmetric theory, is fixed in terms of Planck's constant and the elementary quantum of charge. By this choice the spinor representation of the linear connection becomes closely related to the spinor affinity used by Infeld and Van Der Waerden in their generally covariant formulation of Dirac's equation.  相似文献

We resolve the space-time canonical variables of the relativistic point particle into inner products of Weyl spinors with components in a Clifford algebra and find that these spinors themselves form a canonical system with generalized Poisson brackets. For N particles, the inner products of their Clifford coordinates and momenta form two N × N Hermitian matrices X and P which transform under a U(N) symmetry in the generating algebra. This is used as a starting point for defining matrix mechanics for a point particle in Clifford space. Next we consider the string. The Lorentz metric induces a metric and a scalar on the world sheet which we represent by a Jackiw–Teitelboim term in the action. The string is described by a polymomenta canonical system and we find the wave solutions to the classical equations of motion for a flat world sheet. Finally, we show that the \({SL(2.\mathbb{C})}\) charge and space-time momentum of the quantized string satisfy the Poincaré algebra.  相似文献

If space-time possesses a Fermi substructure, then the canonical quantization of the space-time and the Fermi coordinates of a relativistic point particle must be mutually consistent. We show that the Fermi substructure meets this requirement. A comparison has been made between a graphite furnace system based on nickel as a matrix stabilizing metal and an automated hydride generation system with a heated quartz cell. The effect of nickel as a matrix modifier was studied in pure selenite solutions as well as in biological matrixes by different charring temperatures. The suppression effect of different acids on the response of the analyte is reported and discussed. The use of an electrically heated quartz tube as an alternative to the argon hydrogen flame method unproved the selenium determination by hydride generation atomic absorption. The effect of hydrochloric acid to secure quantitative formation of selenium (IV) and the interference of copper in the response measurements have been studied. Further a comparison has been made between three different digestion procedures when the hydride generation atomic absorption system was applied. The results of the graphite furnace atomic absorption and the hydride generation atomic absorption were found to be equally accurate, but the graphite furnace technique gave better reproducibility.  相似文献
