Splenectomy has been reported to improve liver fibrosis in patients with cirrhosis and hypersplenism. However, the mechanisms remain unclear. Tumor necrosis factor superfamily 14 (TNFSF14; also known as LIGHT) is highly expressed in the context of fibrosis and promotes disease progression in patients with fibrotic diseases such as pulmonary and skin fibrosis. Here, we determined whether splenectomy controls the production of LIGHT to improve liver fibrosis. Splenectomy reduced serum LIGHT levels in cirrhotic patients with hypersplenism and a ConA-induced liver fibrosis mouse model. Blocking LIGHT resulted in the downregulation of TGF-β1 in RAW264.7 cells. LIGHT treatment of RAW264.7 and JS1 cells in coculture regulated transforming growth factor-β1 (TGF-β1) expression through the activation of JNK signaling. Small interfering RNA-mediated silencing of lymphotoxin β receptor (LTβR) in macrophages resulted in pronounced decreases in the levels of fibrosis and αSMA in JS1 cells. These results indicated that LIGHT bound to LTβR and drove liver fibrosis in vitro. Blocking TGF-β1 abolished the effect of LIGHT in vitro. Furthermore, the administration of recombinant murine LIGHT protein-induced liver fibrosis with splenectomy, while blocking LIGHT without splenectomy improved liver fibrosis in vivo, revealing that the decrease in fibrosis following splenectomy was directly related to reduced levels of LIGHT. Thus, high levels of LIGHT derived from the spleen and hepatic macrophages activate JNK signaling and lead to increased TGF-β1 production in hepatic macrophages. Difference systems of sets (DSSs) are combinatorial configurations which were introduced in 1971 by Levenstein for the construction of codes for synchronization. In this paper, we present two kinds of constructions of difference systems of sets by using disjoint difference families and a special type of difference sets, respectively. A low-threshold random laser with one mirror and feedback is investigated in the PMMA film containing rhodamine 590 and TiO2 nano-particles. Incoherent and coherent laser emission is observed. Effect of particle concentration on light emission is explored, and the optimum particle concentration is obtained. Optical microscopy and scanning probe microscopy are used to investigate the film structure, and the principle of incoherent and coherent laser is analysed.  相似文献

A novel heterogeneous strong acid catalyst was synthesized through the copolymerization of p-toluenesulfonic acid and paraformaldehyde and utilized for the synthesis of fructone. The results showed that the catalyst was very efficient for the reaction with the yield over 95%. The advantages of extremely high density of acidity, high thermal and chemical stability, low cost for the simple synthetic procedure, and reusability made the catalyst one of the best choices for the reaction.  相似文献

In this paper,a new method combining focused ion beam(FIB)and scanning electron microscope(SEM)Moirétechnique for the measurement of residual stress at micro scale is proposed.The FIB is employed to introduce stress relief like the macro ring-core method and fabricate gratings with a frequency of 5000 lines/mm on the measured area of the sample surface.Three groups of gratings in different radial directions are manufactured in order to form a micro-scale strain rosette.After milling ring-core by FIB,the deformation incurred by relief of the stress will be recorded with the strain rosette.The displacement/strain field can be measured using SEM scanning Moiréwith random phase-shifting algorithm.In this study,the Nickel alloy GH4169 sample(which was processed by laser shock peening)is selected as a study object to determine its residual stress.The results showed that the components of the in-plane principal stresses were-359 MPa and-207 MPa,respectively,which show good agreement with the results obtained from the available literature.  相似文献

以SiO2负载12-磷钨酸(PW)为催化剂,对甲苯与乙酸酐(AA)的酰化反应进行了研究。采用XRD、BET、TGA和NH3-TPD等对PW/SiO2催化剂进行了表征。结果表明,PW负载量及焙烧温度对PW/SiO2的酸性、PW在SiO2上的分散状态以及酰化催化活性有明显的影响。PW的负载量40%(按质量计)、焙烧温度300℃制备的PW(40%)/SiO2催化剂,其PW在载体表面的分散度好,酸量及酸强度适宜,对甲苯与乙酸酐的酰化反应具有较高的催化活性。在130℃,催化剂/乙酸酐(质量比)2.2时,催化反应效果最佳。  相似文献

微藻生物能源具有巨大的开发潜力及应用前景,但仍面临很多产业化瓶颈.本文分析了微藻生物能源技术的潜力与存在的问题,指出制约微藻生物能源技术发展的主要障碍为规模养殖,如何提高微藻生长效率、降低能耗、提高规模生产的可靠性仍是面临的艰巨任务.本文介绍了石油化工企业温室气体减排与微藻生物能源技术的集成及技术思路,构建了减排工业废气与生产微藻生物能源的循环经济模式.此外,还介绍了中国石化在利用温室气体发展微藻生物能源技术方面的实践,围绕能源微藻选育技术、光生物反应器技术、微藻生物质加工及综合利用技术展开阐述.  相似文献
