The analysis of nuclear convection-current contributions to the transverseE 2 isoscalar and isovector form factors in12C initiated by Flanz et al. has been extended. It is shown that the continuity equation of the nuclear electromagnetic current provides the constraint needed to explain the behaviour of the form factors studied in the range 0<q<2fm–1. 相似文献

Performing the angle transformation from pion-nucleon to pion-nucleus CMS frame the first order pion-nucleus optical potential receives also a contribution due to nucleonic Fermi motion. The corresponding term is always repulsive and reflects the nuclear spin-orbital interaction playing an important role particularly for nuclei with half-filled valence shells. We demonstrate the effects due to this term yielding a contribution to the level shifts and widths of pionic atoms. Such ideas allow one to explain theA-dependence of 2p-level energy shifts for most of the s-d shell-mesoatoms.Dedicated by the co-authors to the memory of M. Gmitro.Two authors (A. C. and R. Sequences based on the distant dipolar field (DDF) have shown great promise for novel spectroscopy and imaging. Unless spatial variation in the longitudinal magnetization, Mz(s), is eliminated by relaxation, diffusion, or spoiling techniques by the end of a single repetition, unexpected results can be obtained due to spatial harmonics in the steady state MzSS(s) profile. This is true even in a homogeneous single-component sample. We have developed an analytical expression for the MzSS(s) profile that occurs in DDF sequences when smearing by diffusion is negligible in the TR period. The expression has been verified by directly imaging the MzSS(s) profile after establishing the steady state. 相似文献

The fo-value for the β-transition16C(O+,gst)→16N(O?, 120 keV) is calculated within an extended shell-model space. It is reduced by a factor of 2.5 compared to the result obtained without explicit treatment of configuration mixing. The exchange current contribution enhances the one-body axial charge density by ~50%. It is argued that the experimental data can well be described when using Woods-Saxon single particle wave functions. 相似文献
