The titanium content of pyrope garnet can be quantified using the intensity of a Raman band at about 830 cm−1 that is normalized to the 363 cm−1 band using a spectrometer‐specific calibration using 10 to 15 chromian pyropes from Bohemia, Czech Republic. An accuracy of 0.025 wt% could be achieved for TiO2 contents between 0.17 and 0.67 wt% TiO2 with a Raman spectrometer with a spectral resolution of better than 3.9 cm−1. We observed well-separated 1s and 2p pi(-) states in 205Pb in the 206Pb(d,3He) reaction at T(d) = 604.3 MeV. The binding energies and the widths determined are B(1s) = 6.762+/-0.061 MeV, Gamma(1s) = 0.764(+0.154)(-0.171) MeV, B(2p) = 5.110+/-0.045 MeV, and Gamma(2p) = 0.321(-0.062)(+0.060) MeV. They are used to deduce the real and imaginary strengths of the s-wave part of the pion-nucleus interaction, which translates into a positive mass shift of pi(-) in 205Pb. 相似文献

We consider a nonlinear Schrödinger (NLS) equation on a spatially extended periodic quantum graph. With a multiple scaling expansion, an effective amplitude equation can be derived in order to describe slow modulations in time and space of an oscillating wave packet. Using Bloch wave analysis and Gronwall’s inequality, we estimate the distance between the macroscopic approximation which is obtained via the amplitude equation and true solutions of the NLS equation on the periodic quantum graph. Moreover, we prove an approximation result for the amplitude equations which occur at the Dirac points of the system. 相似文献

In informationally inefficient markets, classical decision theory assumes the value of information to be positive. Recent developments, however, contradict this paradigm. Schredelseker [Schredelseker, K., 2001. Is the usefulness approach useful? Some reflections on the utility of public information. In: McLeay, S., Riccaboni, A. (Eds.), Contemporary Issues in Accounting Regulation, Kluwer Academic Publishers, Boston, pp. 135–153] proposed a simulation model wherein a single security is traded among non-cooperating and asymetrically informed traders. One of the main results was the fact that badly informed traders could expect higher returns than traders with more information. But Schredelseker was able to give exact results for a small number of traders only. The aim of this paper is to give reliable results for a sufficiently large number of traders for both the expected gain and the probability of gain larger than zero. We are using combinatorial methods in order to get exact results for badly informed traders and simulation techniques for results of traders with higher level of information. The exact results are used (error between exact results and simulation results for the first traders) to determine the number of samples which have to be drawn with the simulation algorithm. 相似文献

Deeply bound 1s states of pi(-) in (115,119,123)Sn were preferentially observed using the Sn(d,3He) pion-transfer reaction under the recoil-free condition. The 1s binding energies and widths were precisely determined and were used to deduce the isovector parameter of the s-wave pion-nucleus potential to be b1=-(0.115+/-0.007)m(-1)(pi). The observed enhancement of |b(1)| over the free piN value (b(free)1/b1=0.78+/-0.05) indicates a reduction of the chiral order parameter, f*pi(rho)2/f2pi approximately 0.64, at the normal nuclear density, rho=rho(0). 相似文献

We report the first observation of the doubly-magic nucleus100Sn. This isotope was produced by nuclear fragmentation of124Xe projectiles at 1095 A·MeV using the heavy-ion synchrotron SIS at GSI, Darmstadt. The projectile fragments were separated in flight with the projectile-fragment separator FRS and identified by measuring event by event the magnetic rigidity, the time of flight and the energy deposition. 相似文献
