The hydrogenation reactions of several cyclobutyl enamides derived from (-)-alpha-pinene or (-)-verbenone have been investigated by using different catalysts. The chiralities of both the substrate and the catalyst as well as the Z/E stereochemistry of the double bond have been considered, and the observed diastereoselectivity has been rationalized. For enamides with the double bond separated from the cyclobutane by a methylene, the Wilkinson catalyst did not induce any diastereoselection, but excellent diastereoselectivity was observed when using Et-DuPHOS-Rh and ChiraPHOS-Rh. The configuration of the new stereogenic center was catalyst-dependent and can be rationalized according to the Halpern mechanism. For (Z)-enamides with the double bond directly linked to the cyclobutane ring, the chirality of the substrate governed the diastereoselection and the Halpern mechanism seemed not to be operative in the hydrogenation with ChiraPHOS, with the configuration of the new stereogenic center being determined by steric effects. On the contrary, the chirality of the catalyst was the factor determining the stereochemistry of the major products with alkyl-DuPHOS-Rh. Z/E stereochemistry influenced the stereodifferentiation, and a different behavior for each Z or E stereoisomer was found. For both (Z)- and (E)-enamides, some instances of match/mismatch between the chirality of the substrate and that of the catalyst were observed. As a result of all of these studies, a series of new cyclobutyl alpha-amino acids has been synthesized. These products are interesting to incorporate into conformationally constrained peptides. 相似文献

Abstract— Following UV irradiation at 254 nm and treatment with hot piperidine, single-stranded 49-mer and 12-mer oligodeoxyribonucleotides have been shown by gel-sequencing experiments to contain a prominent alkali-labile cleavage site that maps to adenine in the sequence element 5'-TTGATC-3'. This behavior is abolished by single base substitutions within the photoreactive tract and does not occur with duplex DNA. The distinctive properties of the photolesion are consistent with the formation of an abasic site through initial loss of a photomodified adenine base of unknown structure. The presence of an abasic site is supported by the observations that the alkaline cleavage fragments are terminally phosphorylated and that strand scission can also be effected by spermidine and the tripeptide Lys-Trp-Lys. 相似文献

The role of hydrogen bonding on the microscopic properties of supercooled methanol has been analyzed by means of molecular dynamics simulations. Thermodynamic, structural, and dynamical properties have been investigated in supercooled methanol. The results have been compared with those of an ideal methanol-like system whose molecules have the same dipole moment as the methanol but lack sites for hydrogen bonding. Upon cooling the methanol samples, translational relaxation times increase more rapidly than reorientational ones. This effect is much more important when hydrogen bonds are suppressed. Suppression of hydrogen bonds also results in lower critical temperatures for diffusion and for several characteristic relaxation time constants. The anisotropy of individual dynamics and the existence of dynamical heterogeneities have also been investigated. 相似文献

Reaction of the thiosemicarbazone ligands C4H4NC(H)=NN(H)C(S)NHR (R = Me, a ; Et, b ) with Li2[PdCl4] gave the dinuclear complexes [Pd{C4H4NC(H)=NNC(S)NHR}(μ‐Cl)]2 (R = Me, 1a ; Et, 1b ) with a central Pd2Cl2 core and with deprotonation of the thiosemicarbazones at the hydrazinic nitrogen atom. Treatment of 1a and 1b with triphenylphosphine gave the mononuclear compounds [Pd{C4H4C(H)=NNC(S)NHR}(Cl)(PPh3)] (R = Me, 2a ; Et, 2b ), whereas reaction of 1a and 1b with tertiary diphosphines gave mono‐ and dinuclear compounds, as appropriate, with the corresponding diphosphine acting as a monodentate ( 6b ), chelating ( 3a ) and bridging ligand ( 4a, 5a , 4b, 5b ). Treatment of 1a and 1b with (Ph2PCH2CH2PPh2)W(CO)5 gave the new heterobimetallic complexes 7a and 7b . The crystal structures of complexes 3a and 4a are described. 相似文献

Transition metal (TM) hydrides display a remarkable range of bonding types, encompassing classical M-H moieties, dihydrogen complexes containing the eta 2-H2 ligand, and trihydrides which display quantum mechanical site exchange. Furthermore, C-H, Si-H and B-H moieties can bind to TM centres in an eta 2-manner, to give sigma-bond complexes with a spectrum of M...H contributions. In addition to these primary bonding modes, TM complexes also indulge in a wide spectrum of hydrogen-bonding interactions, including both M...H-X and the unique type M-H...H-X. This review begins with a historical perspective of the development of TM hydride chemistry, and proceeds to focus on three significant developments of the past two decades: the discovery of sigma-bond and dihydrogen complexes, the involvement of TM hydrides in hydrogen bonding, and the role played by quantum mechanical phenomena in the chemistry and dynamics of TM hydrides. The account concludes with an overview of the inter-relationship between these apparently disparate novel aspects of TM hydride chemistry. 相似文献

The determination of extractable trace metal contents in soil using single extraction procedures is currently performed in many laboratories to assess the bioavailable metal fraction (and related phytotoxic effects) and the accessability to the environment (e.g. contamination of ground waters). Owing to the need for validation of the extraction schemes used and of the analytical techniques, the EC Measurements and Testing Programme (formerly BCR) has organized a project for improving the quality of determination of extractable trace metal contents in soil, the first step being an interlaboratory study to adopt common extraction procedures and the second being a certification campaign to certify two soils for their extractable trace element contents following these procedures. This paper gives a brief overview of the project organisation and describes the preparation, homogeneity and stability studies of two soil candidate reference materials (sewage sludge-amended and terra rossa soils). 相似文献

Dense and homogeneous metal–organic framework (MOF) coatings on functional bead surfaces are easily prepared by using intermediate sacrificial metal oxide coatings containing the metal precursor of the MOF. Polystyrene (PS) beads are coated with a ZnO layer to give ZnO@PS core–shell beads. The ZnO@PS beads are reactive in the presence of 2‐methylimidazole to transform part of the ZnO coating into a porous zeolitic imidazolate framework‐8 (ZIF‐8) external shell positioned above the internal ZnO precursor shell. The obtained ZIF‐8@ZnO@PS beads can be easily packed in column format for flow‐through applications, such as the solid‐phase extraction of trace priority‐listed environmental pollutants. The prepared material shows an excellent permeance to flow when packed as a column to give high enrichment factors, facile regeneration, and excellent reusability for the extraction of the pollutant bisphenol A. It also shows an outstanding performance for the simultaneous enrichment of mixtures of endocrine disrupting chemicals (bisphenol A, 4‐tert‐octylphenol and 4‐n‐nonylphenol), facilitating their analysis when present at very low levels (<1 μg L?1) in drinking waters. For the extraction of the pollutant bisphenol A, the prepared ZIF‐8@ZnO@PS beads also show a superior extraction and preconcentration capacity to that of the PS beads used as precursors and the composite materials obtained by the direct growth of ZIF‐8 on the surface of the PS beads in the absence of metal oxide intermediate coatings. 相似文献

We present a model molecular system with an unintuitive transport-extension behavior in which the tunneling current increases with forced molecular elongation. The molecule consists of two complementary aromatic units (1,4-anthracenedione and 1,4-anthracenediol) hinged via two ether chains and attached to gold electrodes through thiol-terminated alkenes. The transport properties of the molecule as it is mechanically elongated in a single-molecule pulling setting are computationally investigated using a combination of equilibrium molecular dynamics simulations of the pulling with gDFTB computations of the transport properties in the Landauer limit. Contrary to the usual exponential decay of tunneling currents with increasing molecular length, the simulations indicate that upon elongation electronic transport along the molecule increases 10-fold. The structural origin of this inverted trend in the transport is elucidated via a local current analysis that reveals the dual role played by H-bonds in both stabilizing π-stacking for selected extensions and introducing additional electronic couplings between the complementary aromatic rings that also enhance tunneling currents across the molecule. The simulations illustrate an inverted electromechanical single-molecule switch that is based on a novel class of transport-extension behavior that can be achieved via mechanical manipulation and highlight the remarkable sensitivity of conductance measurements to the molecular conformation. 相似文献

A new class of fluorinated lactones was prepared by the intramolecular fluorocyclizations of unsaturated carboxylic acids by using the stable fluoroiodane reagent in combination with AgBF4. This unique reaction incorporates a cyclization, an aryl migration, and a fluorination all in one step. The fluoroiodane reagent, prepared easily from fluoride, can also be used without a metal catalyst to give moderate yields within just 1 hour, thus demonstrating that it is a suitable reagent for developing new 18F‐labelled radiotracers for PET imaging. 相似文献

The K-Ras4B GTPase is a major oncoprotein whose signaling activity depends on its correct localization to negatively charged subcellular membranes and nanoclustering in membrane microdomains. Selective localization and clustering are mediated by the polybasic farnesylated C-terminus of K-Ras4B, but the mechanisms and molecular determinants involved are largely unknown. In a combined chemical biological and biophysical approach we investigated the partitioning of semisynthetic fully functional lipidated K-Ras4B proteins into heterogeneous anionic model membranes and membranes composed of viral lipid extracts. Independent of GDP/GTP-loading, K-Ras4B is preferentially localized in liquid-disordered (l(d)) lipid domains and forms new protein-containing fluid domains that are recruiting multivalent acidic lipids by an effective, electrostatic lipid sorting mechanism. In addition, GDP-GTP exchange and, thereby, Ras activation results in a higher concentration of activated K-Ras4B in the nanoscale signaling platforms. Conversely, palmitoylated and farnesylated N-Ras proteins partition into the l(d) phase and concentrate at the l(d)/l(o) phase boundary of heterogeneous membranes. Next to the lipid anchor system, the results reveal an involvement of the G-domain in the membrane interaction process by determining minor but yet significant structural reorientations of the GDP/GTP-K-Ras4B proteins at lipid interfaces. A molecular mechanism for isoform-specific Ras signaling from separate membrane microdomains is postulated from the results of this study. 相似文献
