In experiments on the parametrical amplification of femtosecond pulses in wide-aperture DKDP crystals, a power of more than 100 TW has been reached, which is much higher than the record level achieved in such lasers. The energy efficiency obtained for the parametric amplifier is equal to 27%. The energy of a 72-fs pulse is equal to 10 J.  相似文献

We compute the width and shape of the EPR and tunneling resonances due to dislocations in Mn12 acetate crystals. Uncorrelated dislocations produce the Gaussian shape of resonances while dislocations bound in pairs produce the Lorentzian shape. We stress that the uniaxial spin Hamiltonian together with crystal defects can explain the totality of experimental data on Mn12. 1.  Up to a certain point (55%), decationization of NaY zeolites reduces the activity of the zeolites in catalyzing the hydrogenation of 2-methyl-2-butene. Further decationization had no effect on the yield of saturated hydrocarbons.
2.  Plotted as a function of the cation's electrostatic potential, the activity of MNaY zeolites in catalyzing the hydrogenation of 2-methyl-2-butene passes through a maximum. Minimum activity was observed with the NdNaY zeolite.
3.  Experiments in an atmosphere of helium showed that saturated hydrocarbons, resulting from hydrogen redistribution, are frequently formed in the course of reactions on decationized and polyvalent cationic forms of the Y zeolite.

The nonlinear mobility of a domain wall in an idealized model of a RE ferrite-garnet is considered, the thermally agitated RE sublattice being described by the Landau-Lifshitz-Bloch equation [4] with longitudinal relaxation terms. It is shown that in some field intervals the DW velocity is small and governed by the longitudinal relaxation of the RE ions. This effect may be observed in sufficiently low magnetic fields near the compensation point of ferrites. If the dynamics of the RE spins is dissipationless, there is a non-analytic contribution to the DW damping due to the wake in the RE subsystem.  相似文献

It is shown experimentally that, when the residence time of the lasing mixture in a laser unit increases from 60 to 120 min, the lasing threshold grows and the energy parameters of the laser degrade. The latter effect is associated with impurity gas accumulation. Impurities are found to variously influence the operating characteristics of the lasing media considered in this paper.  相似文献

We report on the crystal structures of two hydrates of benzenehexasulfonic acid, its water sorption isotherm, temperature- and humidity-dependent conductivity, along with 1H NMR studies. At comparable humidities and temperatures, this crystalline material shows conductivity similar to Nafion, which conducts protons via liquid water channels. We believe that the presented discovery of fast protonic conductivity in benzenehexasulfonic acid at low humidities is encouraging for further efforts in developing highly sulfonated polymers as membranes for fuel cells.  相似文献

Thermodynamic quantities and correlation functions (CFs) of the classical antiferromagnet on the checkerboard lattice are studied for the exactly solvable infinite-component spin-vector model, D↦∞. In contrast to conventional two-dimensional magnets with continuous symmetry showing extended short-range order at distances smaller than the correlation length, r ξ c∝ exp(T */T), correlations in the checkerboard-lattice model decay already at the scale of the lattice spacing due to the strong degeneracy of the ground state characterized by a macroscopic number of strongly fluctuating local degrees of freedom. At low temperatures, spin CFs decay as < >∝ 1/r 2 in the range a 0r≪ξ cT -1/2, where a0 is the lattice spacing. Analytical results for the principal thermodynamic quantities in our model are very similar with MC simulations, exact and analytical results for the classical Heisenberg model (D = 3) on the pyrochlore lattice. This shows that the ground state of the infinite-component spin vector model on the checkerboard lattice is a classical spin liquid.
