Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons consisting of three fused anthracene units were designed as new π‐conjugated compounds having helical structures. These expanded helicenes were synthesized by Pt‐catalyzed cycloisomerization of the corresponding ethynyl‐substituted precursors. The nonplanar and helical structure was confirmed by X‐ray analysis and DFT calculations, and the barrier to helical inversion was estimated to be 34 kJ mol?1. The enantiomers of the diphenyl derivative were successfully resolved by chiral HPLC. Enantiopure samples showed good chiroptical performance in the CD (|Δ?| 1380 L mol?1 cm?1) and CPL (|glum| 0.013) spectra, and these values were considerably large for simple organic molecules. The unique chiroptical properties are discussed on the basis of the molecular structure and the electronic state with the aid of time‐dependent DFT calculations. 相似文献

Organic electroluminescent devices were fabricated using a poly(arylene ether sulfone)-containing tetraphenylbenzidine (PTPDES) and tris(8-quinolinolato)-aluminum(III) complex, Alq, as the hole transport layer and the electron-transporting emitter layer, respectively. A device structure of glass substrate/indium—tin oxide (ITO)/PTPDES/Alq/Mg : Ag was employed. Hole injection from ITO through the PTPDES layer to the Alq layer and concomitant electroluminescence from the Alq layer were observed. Bright green light with a luminance of 14,000 cd/m2 was observed at a drive voltage of 14 V, indicating that the polymer possesses a high hole mobility and a high electron-blocking capability. 相似文献

An enantiomeric binaphthyl unit was tethered to adjacent thiophenes with oxyethylene linkers to give a chiral polythiophene with binaphthocrown ether cavities. Upon inclusion of a chiral cationic guest in the cavity of the chiral crown ether–polythiophene conjugate, the bithiophene unit was twisted to shorten the effective conjugation length of polythiophene backbone, enabling us to sense the guest binding by reading out the amplified optical signal gains arising from the backbone structure change. This strategy allowed us to discriminate the guest chirality without using chiroptical signals or a circular dichroism spectrometer to achieve the highest enantioselectivity of 7.3 for valine methyl ester with a 40‐fold enhanced sensitivity compared with the corresponding monomeric sensor. 相似文献

In this paper, estimates for a trilinear operator associated with the Hartree type nonlinearity are proved. Moreover, as application of these estimates, it is proved that after a linear transformation, the Cauchy problem for the Hartree-type equation becomes locally well posed in the Bessel potential and homogeneous Besov spaces under certain regularity assumptions on the initial data. Desilicated MTW zeolite was evaluated in methylation of 2-methylnaphthalene (2-MN) in a fixed-bed flow reactor at 450 °C. Mesoporous MTW was fabricated via a microwave-assisted desilication process using a harsh alkaline solution to improve the pore volume and the surface area. H-ZSM-12 zeolite was treated with 0.3 M of NaOH solution with different treatment times. Due to the harsh alkaline treatment, micropores were blocked by the deposition of the removed atoms. Due to the importance of methylnaphthalenes intermediates, modified MTW zeolites were evaluated in methylation of 2-MN. Methanol (MeOH), 2-MN and 1,3,5-trimethylbenzene (TMB) were fed to the reactor with a molar ratio of 15:15:70. Higher selectivity to 1-methylnaphthalene (1-MN) was observed rather than dimethylnaphthalene and trimethylnaphthalene with a yield of 13.6, 8 and 2.5 mol%, respectively. We study the global Cauchy problem for the mass critical nonlinear Schrödinger equations. We prove the global existence of analytic solutions in both space and time variables for sufficiently small and exponentially decaying Cauchy data. The method of proof depends on the Leibniz rule for the generator of pseudo-conformal transforms at the L 2 critical level. 相似文献
