We present results of the first vibrational photon-echo, transient-grating, and temperature dependent transient-bleaching experiments on a-Si:H. Using these techniques, and the infrared light of a free electron laser, the vibrational population decay and phase relaxation of the Si-H stretching mode were investigated. Careful analysis of the data indicates that the vibrational energy relaxes directly into Si-H bending modes and Si phonons, with a distribution of rates determined by the amorphous host. Conversely, the pure dephasing appears to be single exponential, and can be modeled by dephasing via two-phonon interactions. 相似文献

An international laboratory intercomparison of actinides in human tissues was organized by the United States Transuranium Registry and the National Institute of Standards and Technology. Five laboratories from the United States, United Kingdom, and Japan participated in the intercomparison. The laboratories were requested to analyze Standard Reference Materials 4351 (Human Lung) and 4352 (Human Liver) for239Pu and240Pu concentration. Approximately equivalent measurement capabilities were generally found among the participants. The results of this intercomparison were statistically comparable to those used for the original certification of the SRM's and were combined for a re-evaluation of the certified values. The combined data sets provide a better characterization of the inhomogeneity of these reference materials and result in a better basis for certification.Deceased. 相似文献

By comparing the exact results of an extended multiband Hubbard Hamiltonian for Cu2O7 and Cu2O8 clusters to those obtained from an effective single band Hamiltonian, we show that the low energy scale physics is very well described by a t-t′-J model which describes the motion of singlets in an antiferromagnetic background of spins. We obtain values for t, t′ and J for both hole and electron doping and show that these are different. We also study the dispersion relations and density of states within the quasi particle approximation both of which show rather interesting characteristics which could be relevant for high Tc superconductors. 相似文献
