The results of studying the characteristics of an intracavity laser spectrometer based on a polycrystalline Cr2+:ZnSe laser operating in a pulse-periodic regime with the pulse-repetition rate of 3 kHz and pulse duration of ∼50 ns are presented. Intracavity spectra of absorption of NH3 and CH4 gases in the vicinity of 2.35 μm are measured. The estimate of the spectrometer sensitivity is provided.  相似文献

Refractive-index changes accompanying changes in population of electronic levels of Yb3+ ions in a Yb:YAG laser disk under intense diode and laser pumping have been studied by use of both a highly sensitive polarization interferometer and transient grating testing at 633 nm. The electronic change of the index that is due to excitation of the Yb3+ ions (which have different polarizability of ground state 2F7/2 and excited level 2F5/2) is strongly predominant over the thermal component. The polarizability differences are deltap (1.9 +/- 0.8) x 10(-26) and (1.95 +/- 0.25) x 10(-26) cm3 as measured at 633 nm in interferometric and transient grating experiments, respectively.  相似文献

In this paper, we present some new properties of the Mitra‐Wan forestry model written as a discrete‐time optimal control problem. For this problem, the set of stationary states is characterized. For the optimal long‐run management, we consider the following optimality criteria: average optimality, good control policies, bias optimality, and overtaking optimality. We establish relationships between these criteria and show that the value of average optimal policies is constant and equals the value in the optimal stationary state.  相似文献

Time-resolved excited-state absorption and fluorescence measurements were performed in the Yb3+ doped YAG and KGW laser crystals. The results indicate that the athermal refractive index changes observed in previous transient interferometric and diffraction grating experiments can be related to polarisability changes caused by the existence of strong UV charge transfer absorption bands.  相似文献

A diode-pumped Nd:YVO4 laser is demonstrated that has a reciprocal self-intersecting loop cavity with self-organization by formation of a dynamic holographic grating induced by the generating beam. Continuous-wave high spatial quality generation (M2 < 1.2) with 9.6 W of power and 32% optical efficiency is obtained. Spectral compositions and temporal dynamics are investigated as functions of diode-pumping power.  相似文献
