A cyclotriphosphazene substituted with six 3,5-bis(trifluoromethyl) benzyloxy units was designed as a novel 19F MRI contrast agent. The resulting molecule has 36 magnetically equivalent fluorine atoms and exhibited suitable MRI properties with high imaging sensitivity, confirming the proof-of-concept as a convenient scaffold for the production of new 19F MRI contrasts agents.  相似文献

We investigate the temperature and magnetic field dependence of the resistance R of thin Pd and PdHx films. We show that the logarithmic behaviour R(T)A ln T is dominated in Pd by the interaction effect. Loading progressively with hydrogen shows first no change in A and then a decrease followed by a sign reversal when superconducting fluctuations prevail. The application of a magnetic field restores then a positive and large value of A. These data are analyzed within recent theories.  相似文献

The exchange-enhanced electron-electron interactions at the paramagnetic-ferromagnetic transition were studied experimentally via proximity effect tunneling spectroscopy. By solving the Usadel equations in both the paramagnetic and ferromagnetic states, the electron-spin fluctuation coupling constant and the exchange field are derived from the tunneling spectra.  相似文献

The ZEPLIN Collaboration has recently published its first result presenting a maximum sensitivity of 1.1×10−61.1×10−6 picobarn for a WIMP mass of ≈60 GeV60 GeV. The analysis is based on a discrimination method using the different time distribution of scintillation light generated in electron recoil and nuclear recoil interactions. We show that the methodology followed both for the calibration of the ZEPLIN-I detector response and for the estimation of the discrimination power is not reliable enough to claim any background discrimination at the present stage. The ZEPLIN-I sensitivity appears then to be in the order of 10−3 picobarn, three orders of magnitude above the claimed 1.1×10−61.1×10−6 picobarn.  相似文献

Microarrays have become one of the most convenient tools for high throughput screening, supporting major advances in genomics and proteomics. Other important applications can be found in medical diagnostics, detection of biothreats, drug discovery, etc. Integration of microarrays with microfluidic devices can be highly advantageous in terms of portability, shorter analysis time and lower consumption of expensive biological analytes. Since fabrication of microfluidic devices using traditional materials such as glass is rather expensive, there is great interest in employing polymeric materials as a low cost alternative that is suitable for mass production. A number of commercially available plastic materials were reviewed for this purpose and poly(methylmethacrylate) Zeonor 1060R and Zeonex E48R were identified as promising candidates, for which methods for surface modification and covalent immobilization of DNA oligonucleotides were developed. In addition, we present proof-of-concept plastic-based microarrays with and without integration with microfluidics.  相似文献

A phthalocyanine-chalcone conjugate has been designed to combine the vascular disrupting effect of chalcones with the photodynamic effect of phthalocyanines. This potential dual photodynamic and antiangiogenic agent was obtained by the condensation of a tetrahydroxylated non-peripherally substituted Zn(ii) phthalocyanine with an amino chalcone converted into the corresponding activated isocyanate. The latest results obtained by the EDELWEISS WIMP (weakly interacting massive particles) direct detection experiment using three heat-and-ionization 320-g germanium bolometers are given. Presently the most sensitive WIMP direct detection experiment for WIMP mass >30 GeV, EDELWEISSI is testing a first region of SUSY models compatible with accelerator constraints. The status and main characteristics of EDELWEISS-II, involving in a first stage 28 germanium bolometers and able to accommodate up to 120 detectors, are briefly presented, together with neutron background estimates.  相似文献

The incorporation of C‐glycosides in drug design has become a routine practice for medicinal chemists. These naturally occurring building blocks exhibit attractive pharmaceutical profiles, and have become an important target of synthetic efforts in recent decades. 1 Described herein is a practical, scalable, and versatile route for the synthesis of non‐anomeric and unexploited C‐acyl glycosides through a Ni/photoredox dual catalytic system. By utilizing an organic photocatalyst, a range of glycosyl‐based radicals are generated and efficiently coupled with highly functionalized carboxylic acids at room temperature. Distinctive features of this transformation include its mild conditions, impressive compatibility with a wide array of functional groups, and most significantly, preservation of the anomeric carbon: a handle for further, late‐stage derivatization.  相似文献
