[reaction: see text] The asymmetric synthesis of a C1-C22 fragment (2) of leucascandrolide A is described. Synthetic highlights include the construction of the C9-C22 pyran fragment using a formal [4 + 2]-annulation of a chiral organosilane. A diastereoselctive Mukaiyama aldol was used to introduce the C9 stereocenter and complete the assembly of the macrocycle's carbon skeleton. 相似文献

The thiols cysteine (1), homocysteine (2), acetylcysteine (3), glutathione (4), and dithioerythritol (5) underwent autoxidation with controlled rates of chain initiation (Ri) when driven by azobis (2-amidino propane hydrochloride (ABAP). Cysteine exhibits the largest rate constant. Thils2 and4 inhibited the facile self-initiated autoxidation of ascorbate and regenerated ascorbate from its oxidation product, dehydroascorbic acid. Thiols1 and2 inhibited ABAP- initiated peroxidation of dilinoleoyl phosphatidylcholine (DLPC) membranes with a kinh similar to that of 6-hydroxy-2,5,7,8-tetramethylchroman-2-carboxylate (Trolox). Thiols1–4 all acted cooperatively with Trolox to inhibit ABAP-initiated peroxidation of DLPC membranes. Stoichiometric factors, n=0.31?0.63, are attributed to oxidative wasting reactions. Each thiol,2, 4, and5 when combined with ascorbate further extended the inhibition period mediated by Trolox during peroxidation of linoleate initiated by lipid-soluble di-tert-butylhyponitrite (DBHN) in sodium dodecly sulfate (SDS) micelles. The spin trap phenyl-tert-butylnitrone (PBN) exhibited only retardant (not antioxidant) activity during peroxidation of linoleate initiated by DBHN or ABAP in SDS micelles. 相似文献

This uses only two conventional solar cells and is considerably simpler to construct and operate than alternative systems. New isobutylene‐rich elastomers bearing multiple pendant styrenic, acrylic, maleimidic, vinylic, and allylic functional groups have been prepared and examined in the context of peroxide‐initiated crosslinking. Halide displacement from brominated poly(isobutylene‐co‐isoprene) (BIIR) by the requisite carboxylate nucleophiles in homogeneous toluene solutions provide the desired esters in quantitative yield without complications from dehydrohalogenation or premature crosslinking. Heating the resulting macromonomers with dicumyl peroxide to 160 °C under solvent‐free conditions gives thermoset derivatives, with reaction rates and yields depending markedly on functional group structure. In general, high cure extents can only be achieved using highly reactive pendant functional groups, owing to the competitive balance between crosslinking through C?C oligomerization, and degradation through β‐scission of backbone macroradical intermediates. Independent control of crosslinking rates and cure extents is gained through the use of nitroxyl radical traps bearing acrylate functionality. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. Polym. This paper describes the design, construction and testing of a fibre optic pressure sensor based on a reflecting Fabry-Perot etalon. The etalon comprised one fixed mirror and a second mirror designed to flex under the action of the pressure being monitored. A single multimode fibre was used to connect the passive, remote sensor to the transmitter/receiver section, and dual wavelength referencing was used to eliminate the effects of bending-induced attenuation in the fibre. 相似文献
