Total and differential cross sections for the exclusive reaction pp-->pp rho observed via the pi(+)pi(-) decay channel have been measured at p(beam)=3.67 GeV/c. The observed total meson production cross section is determined to be (23.4+/-0.8+/-8) mu b and is significantly lower than typical cross sections used in model calculations for heavy-ion collisions. The differential cross sections measured indicate a strong anisotropy (approximately cos(theta(CM)(rho)) in the rho(0) meson production. 相似文献

A summary of the present status of the analysis of the DISTO data on pseudoscalar and vector meson production at 3.67 GeV/c is presented. The new data on spin observales for the exclusive reaction \(\vec pp \to pK^ + \vec \Lambda \) at the three beam momenta: 3.67, 3.31 and 2.94 GeV/c are also discussed. 相似文献

Walter?Oelert Magnus?Wolke Pawe??Moskal COSY- collaboration at COSY-Jülich 《Czechoslovak Journal of Physics》2000,50(4):69-90
During the actual lectures, features of the COSY-Jülich accelerator were presented, followed by a short summary of ongoing experiments at the COoler SYnchrotron COSY using internal as well as external beams in the range of 45 MeV to 2.5 GeV. Here the research of the COSY-11 collaboration is presented. This °0 facility studies the hidden and open strangeness production observing the ν and η′ as well the K+Y and K+K? production in the proton—proton interactions at the respective thresholds. 相似文献

Hard-photon (E γ>30 MeV) emission originating from photon-neutron bremsstrahlung collisions is investigated in four different heavy-ion reactions at intermediate bombarding energies (36Ar+197Au, 107Ag, 58Ni, 12C at 60 A MeV) coupling the TAPS photon spectrometer with two charged-particle multidetectors covering more than 80% of the solid angle. The hard-photon spectra of the three heavier targets result from the combination of two distinct exponential distributions with different slope parameters, a results which deviates from the behaviour expected for hard-photon production just in first-chance proton-neutron collisions. The thermal origin of the steeper bremsstrahlung component is confirmed by the characteristics of its slope and angular distribution. Such thermal hard-photons convey undisturbed information of the thermodynamical state of hot and excited nuclear systems undergoing multifragmentation. 相似文献
