The Newman-Penrose nonlinear asymptotic field equations are separated in terms of spin weight spherical harmonics (s.w.s.h.).
As an example, the results are used to study the radiation effects on a two-body system. The presence of radiation is manifest
through the nonlinear terms in the asymptotic equations. If these terms are assumed to be small, the asymptotic equations
can be formally solved by an iteration procedure. For the above example the first step of the iteration procedure is implemented
to an accuracy that includes the effects of radiation up to octopole order. The results illustrate the usual internal decay
of the orbit as well as an acceleration of the system's center of mass. In favorable cases, the two-body source can reach
significant velocities due to the radiation reaction. 相似文献

Fast atom bombardment, combined with high-energy collision-induced tandem mass spectrometry, has been used to investigate gas-phase metal-ion interactions with captopril, enalaprilat and lisinopril, all angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors.Suggestions for the location of metal-binding sites are presented. For captopril, metal binding occurs most likely at both the sulphur and the nitrogen atom. For enalaprilat and lisinopril, binding preferably occurs at the amine nitrogen. Modulation of cell surface iron transferrin receptors by cellular density and state of activation. 总被引:31,自引:0,他引:31
This report describes investigations of plasma membrane transferring receptors on a variety of lymphoid cell lines and normal peripheral blood lymphocytes during activation and cell growth cycles. Transformed lymphoid cell lines have as many as 1,000 times the number of receptors found on normal resting lymphocytes. The number of iron transferrin receptors on continuous cell lines as well as normal human fibroblasts is down-regulated during the transition from log-phase growth to stationary plateau growth. When normal lymphocytes are transformed by mixed lymphocyte culture or mitogens, they rapidly express a 50-fold increase in the number of transferrin binding sites. This appearance of iron transferrin receptors anticipates nuclear changes during cell activation and subsequent mitosis of normal cells. 相似文献
