A flow injection system was proposed to evaluate the transient product of a colorimetric reaction between hydrolysable tannin and potassium iodate (KIO3) solution. The system optimization was accomplished by using statistical methods based on experimental design. Flow rate of KIO3 solution, sample volume, carrier flow rate, and reaction coil were the selected factors for evaluation. On screening step, complete factorial 24 was used and two levels for each selected factor were studied. For the optimization phase, a centered face composite design 22 + star was employed to evaluate sample volume and flow rate of KIO3 solution, which were the factors identified in the screening phase as having more influence on the absorbance signal. After optimization, the proposed system was compared with batch determination. Some characteristics, such as analytical frequency, reagent consumption and chemical residues generation presented better results by the use of the proposed system if compared with batch method. The system presented good repeatability with standard deviation lower than 3%, for n = 10, linearity (R2 = 0.9974) for tannic acid standard, analytical frequency of 15 injections h− 1 and limit of quantification of 24 mg L− 1 of tannic acid. Good results were obtained when the proposed system was applied to hydrolysable tannin determination in Stryphnodendron barbatimão, Eucalyptus citriodora and Phyllanthus niruri, samples of plants commonly used in popular medicine.  相似文献

Sophora leaves from several areas in Beijing are analysed by femtosecond laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (femto-LIBS). Although the used spectral detection system is not time-resolved, the spectral lines of trace mineral elements are detected and analysed. It is proven that the femto-LIBS can be an efficient method to detect mineral trace elements contained in tree leaves which is a biomonitor for atmospheric pollution assessment or botanic studies. An interesting case of correlation between trace elements detected in tree leaves and the pollution of the concerned area is presented, for the first time to our knowledge.  相似文献

 In this article, experimental evidence for the influence that steric interaction and orientational coupling have on the orientation of cellulose fibre dispersed in a particulate matrix is given. The filler coefficient of the fibre suspension is used as a probe to follow the average fibre orientation. It is shown that the fibres do not order into a nematic phase after numerous shear stress steps. From the evolution of the filler coefficient as a function of the time the stress was applied, a rate constant for reorientation was determined. Even in the dilute regime, its value depends on the fibre volume fraction. Results obtained with various fibre and particle sizes have been scaled onto a master curve, where it is shown that the rate of reorientation increases with the fibre–particle size ratio. In this paper, we propose a contrast enhancement realized with a lattice of uncoupled nonlinear oscillators. We show theoretically and numerically that the contrast of a gray scale image is strongly enhanced even if it is initially very weak. An image inversion can also be obtained in real time without needing a reconfiguration of this Cellular Nonlinear Network (CNN). Finally, an electronic implementation of this (CNN) is discussed.  相似文献

Synthetic glycoclusters and their related biological applications have stimulated increasing interest over the last decade. As a prerequisite to discovering active and selective therapeuticals, the development of multivalent glycoconjugates with diverse topologies is faced with inherent synthetic and structural characterisation difficulties. Here we describe a new series of molecularly-defined glycoclusters that were synthesized in a controlled manner using a robust and versatile divergent protocol. Starting from a Regioselectively Addressable Functionalized Template (RAFT) carrier, either a polylysine dendritic framework or a second RAFT, then 16 copies of βGal, αMan, βLac or cancer-related Thomsen-Freidenreich (αTF) antigen were successively conjugated within the same molecule using oxime chemistry. We thus obtained a new generation of dendri-RAFTs glycoclusters with high glycosidic density and variable spatial organizations. These compounds displaying 16 endgroups were unambiguously characterized by NMR spectroscopy and mass spectrometry. Further biological assays between a model lectin from Canavalia ensiformis (ConA) and mannosylated glycoclusters revealed a higher inhibition potency than the tetravalent counterpart, in particular for the hexadecavalent polylysine skeleton. Together with the efficiency of the synthetic and characterisation processes, this preliminary biological study provided clear evidence of promising properties that make the second generation of cyclopeptide-based glycoclusters attractive for biomedical applications.  相似文献
