Analysis of a part of the meteorite which fell at Dergaon (India) on March 2, 16.40 local time (2001) is presented with the help of FTIR, absorption and atomic spectra. The FTIR spectrum exhibits prominent absorption bands in the region 800–1100 cm−1, originating from the valence vibration of SiO4, a basic component of the silicate lattice.  相似文献

We present a method for computing classical Newtonian trajectories that minimize the path length or transit time from reactant to product. Our approach is based on a generalization of the fast-marching method, which allows us to construct the solution of the Hamilton-Jacobi equation for the action that optimizes the desired quantity. The resulting “reactive paths” can be interpreted as reaction coordinates but, unlike more conventional choices, they contain dynamical information about the chemical system of interest.  相似文献

A convergent, total synthesis of epothilones B (2) and D (4) is described. The key steps are Normant coupling to establish the desired (Z)-stereochemistry at C12-C13, Wadsworth-Emmons olefination of methyl ketone 28 with the phosphonate ester 8, diastereoselective aldol condensation of aldehyde 5 with the enolate of keto acid derivatives to form the C6-C7 bond, selective deprotection of acid 52, and macrolactonization.  相似文献

A series of bis(σ)-borane complexes of Group 6 transition metals were prepared by direct dihydroborane coordination to the metal center. Reaction of [M(CO)3(PCy3)2] and two dihydroboranes [DurBH2] and [(Me3Si)2NBH2] (Dur=2,3,5,6-Me4C6H) yielded bis(σ)-borane complexes fac-[M(CO)3(PCy3){η2-(H2BR)}] (R=Dur; 1 : M=Cr, 2 : M=W; R=N(SiMe3)2; 3 : M=Cr, 4 : M=W). In the case of molybdenum, we have isolated an arene complex ( 5 ) with [DurBH2] in which the Dur group acts as a η6-bound ligand, and with [(Me3Si)2NBH2] a similar bis(σ)-borane complex was isolated, cis,trans-[Mo(CO)2(PCy3)22-(H2BN(SiMe3)2}] ( 6 ), with a different pattern of auxiliary ligands. The complexes were investigated by multinuclear NMR spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, X-ray diffraction analysis, and computational methods. Quantum theory of atoms in molecules (QTAIM) calculations demonstrated that the borane complexes may be described as pure bis(σ)-borane complexes rather than elongated or stretched examples given that the calculations do not show the presence of a ring-critical point (RCP) at the ring formed by the interactions of the B−H with metal center.  相似文献

Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) are one of the most extensively studied nanomaterials in the 21st century. Since their discovery in 1991, many studies have been reported advancing our knowledge in terms of their structure, properties, synthesis, and applications. CNTs exhibit unique electrothermal and conductive properties which, combined with their mechanical strength, have led to tremendous attention of CNTs as a nanoscale material in the past two decades. To introduce the various types of CNTs, we first provide basic information on their structure followed by some intriguing properties and a brief overview of synthesis methods. Although impressive advances have been demonstrated with CNTs, critical applications require purification, positioning, and separation to yield desired properties and functional elements. Here, we review a versatile technique to manipulate CNTs based on their dielectric properties, namely dielectrophoresis (DEP). A detailed discussion on the DEP aspects of CNTs including the theory and various technical microfluidic realizations is provided. Various advancements in DEP-based manipulations of single-walled and multiwalled CNTs are also discussed with special emphasis on applications involving separation, purification, sensing, and nanofabrication.  相似文献

The first total synthesis of triumfettamide (1) is described. The asymmetric syntheses of two highly functionalized units—α-hydroxylated C17 monounsaturated fatty acid unit (2) and C26 phytosphingosine (3) have been accomplished involving Sharpless asymmetric dihydroxylation, Sharpless kinetic resolution, regioselective epoxide opening, regioselective DIBAL-H reduction of acetal, Wittig olefination as the key steps. Finally N-acylation of phytosphingosine 3 with (2R,6Z)-2-hydroxy-6-heptadecenoic acid 2 followed by DDQ deprotection of PMB, provided target compound 1.  相似文献

OBJECTIVE: This study aimed to prospectively compare measurement precision of calf intramyocellular lipid (IMCL) quantification at 3.0 and 1.5 T using (1)H magnetic resonance spectroscopy ((1)H-MRS). MATERIALS AND METHODS: We examined the soleus and tibialis anterior (TA) muscles of 15 male adults [21-48 years of age, body mass index (BMI)=21.9-38.0 kg/m(2)]. Each subject underwent 3.0- and 1.5-T single-voxel, short-echo-time, point-resolved (1)H-MRS both at baseline and at 31-day follow-up. The IMCL methylene peak (1.3 ppm) was scaled to unsuppressed water peak (4.7 ppm) using the LCModel routine. Full width at half maximum (FWHM) and signal-to-noise ratios (SNRs) of unsuppressed water peak were measured using jMRUI software. Measurement precision was tested by comparing interexamination coefficients of variation (CV) between different field strengths using Wilcoxon matched pairs signed rank test in all subjects. Overweight subjects (BMI>25 kg/m(2)) were analyzed separately to examine the benefits of 3.0-T acquisitions in subjects with increased adiposity. RESULTS: No significant difference between 3.0 and 1.5 T was noted in CVs for IMCL of soleus (P=.5). CVs of TA were significantly higher at 3.0 T (P=.02). SNR was significantly increased at 3.0 T for soleus (64%, P<.001) and TA (62%, P<.001) but was lower than the expected improvement of 100%. FWHM at 3.0 T was significantly increased for soleus (19%, P<.001) and TA (7%, P<.01). Separate analysis of overweight subjects showed no significant difference between 3.0- and 1.5-T CVs for IMCL of soleus (P=.8) and TA (P=.4). CONCLUSION: Using current technology, (1)H-MRS for IMCL at 3.0 T did not improve measurement precision, as compared with 1.5 T.  相似文献

Our work is focused on facile synthesis and modification of amylopectin‐grafted block copolymers by using reversible addition?fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT) polymerization technique. This technique yields polymers with controlled molecular weight and low polydispersity indexes and is feasible with a wide range of monomers. Five different grades of amylopectin‐grafted polymethacrylic acid and polyacrylamide block copolymers have been synthesized via RAFT, by varying the amount of acrylamide employing amylopectin‐based macro chain transfer agent. Graft copolymers have been upgraded as smart responsive graft copolymers, through the incorporation of iron oxide nanoparticles (IONPs) via condensation reaction. The polymeric materials have been extensively characterized by energy‐dispersive X‐ray analysis, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, proton magnetic resonance spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, ultraviolet‐visible spectroscopy, gel permeation chromatography, transmission electron microscopy, thermogravimetric analysis, and X‐ray diffraction analysis. Normal and responsive graft copolymers have been studied for removal of model contaminant (kaolin), and responsive graft copolymers have been used to remove methylene blue dye (without using any adsorbent) from water by applying external magnetic field. The upgraded block copolymers have shown best performance in wastewater treatment.  相似文献

Abstract

The methanolic extract of Cycas revoluta cone (MECR) was analyzed by GC-MS and UHPLC for metabolite profiling and was evaluated for anti-colon cancer property by using in vitro assays like Cell Viability Assay, Colony Formation Assay, ROS Determination, Flowcytometry, DAPI staining assay, Tunel assay. GC-MS and HPLC analysis confirmed the presence of different phytochemicals in the extract of Cycas revoluta cone. In-vitro studies showed MECR extract showed significant anti-colon cancer activity by reducing proliferation and inducing apoptosis in colon cancer cell (HCT-8) line, but no such activity was seen in normal colon cell (CCD-18Co) line. The investigation confirms that MECR may be a promising candidate in colon cancer protection.  相似文献
