A monitoring study was carried out in 1998-1999 on a medium-sized (c. 4580 km2) watershed of the Dyle (or Dijle) river in central Belgium, composed of both rural and urbanized areas. This watershed may be considered as representative of a large part of the country. Samples were taken each month from seven sites along the course of the river, plus one from its major affluent the Demer. The eight molecules monitored were the main herbicides used on the major crops in the area, plus some used in nonagricultural sectors. The concentrations found were mostly in the 0-3 μg/L range, with some peaks between 3 and 14 μg/L. The averages over all spring and summer samples analyzed ranged from 0.14 (bentazone) to 1.54 μg/L (diuron). Time and space specific patterns could be observed.  相似文献

We show numerically and experimentally that spatial trapping can be induced in quadratic media even if the pump pulse's duration is shorter than the group-delay mismatch between fundamental wave and second-harmonic components. The influence of phase mismatch and pulse power on the trapping effect is discussed. Spatial, temporal, and spectral behaviors that accompany self-trapped propagation are highlighted.  相似文献

A very compact and innovative pulse shaper is proposed and demonstrated. The standard architecture for pulse shaping that is composed of diffraction gratings associated with an amplitude-phase spatial light modulator (SLM) is replaced by a single phase-only SLM. It acts as a pulse stretcher and as an amplitude and phase modulator at the same time. Preliminary experiments demonstrate the accurate control of amplitude and phase of shaped pulses.  相似文献

A specific scheme is used for fiber delivery of ultrashort pulses using conventional elements. Starting from a standard femtosecond Ti:Al(2)O(3) oscillator (150 fs @ 830 nm), perfectly compressed ultrashort pulses with a duration of 45 fs are produced at the output of a standard two meter long single-mode fiber. The setup allows compensating independently and simultaneously second and third orders of chromatic dispersion as well as management of self-phase modulation in the fiber. It includes an optimized dispersion compensation line made of the assembly of diffraction gratings and prisms. The unsurpassed performances of the device are experimentally and numerically highlighted. Fiber delivery of sub-30 fs multinanojoule pulses is discussed.  相似文献

Let H be a separable complex Hilbert space, A a von Neumann algebra in ?(H),a faithful, normal state on A. We prove that if a sequence (Xn: n ≥ 1) of uncorrelated operators in A is bundle convergent to some operator X in A and Σn=1n−2 Var(Xn) log2(n + 1) < ∞, then X is proportional to the identity operator on H. We also prove an analogous theorem for certain uncorrelated vectors in the completion L2=L2(A,φ) of A given by the Gelfand-Naimark-Segal representation theorem. Both theorems were motivated by a recent one proved by Etemadi and Lenzhen in the classical commutative setting.  相似文献

We present analytical, numerical and experimental results of the interactions between Type II vectorial spatial solitary waves (QSSW) in second-order non-linear media. We show that the outcome of the interaction can be changed from beam coalescence to steering, crossing or repulsion through a non-coherent control (i.e. the control does not rely on the relative phase between the interacting QSSW). We also provide experimental evidence that both quasi-elastic and inelastic collision between QSSW are feasible in second order non-linear media, depending on the relative velocity of the interacting QSSW. We determine (analytically, numerically and experimentally) the critical transverse velocity for elastic collision to be observed, when the fundamental frequency component of the two interacting beams are orthogonally polarized at the input face of the non-linear crystal.  相似文献

We report the passive phase locking of an array of four fiber amplifiers in a unidirectional ring cavity. The feedback loop consists of a single-mode fiber that filters intracavity the far-field pattern of the four emitted beams. Classical approachs for fitting and aggregation problems, specially in cluster analysis, social choice theory and paired comparisons methods, consist in the minimization of a remoteness function between relational data and a relational model. The notion of median, with its algebraic, metric, geometrical and statistical aspects, allow a unified treatment of many of base problems. Properties of median procedures are organized according to four directions: stabilities and axiomatic characterizations; Arrow-like properties; combinatorial properties; effective computational possibilities.
