Formation of 1,2-0-(1-methoxycarbonyl)ethylidene derivatives of sugars from 1,2-0-(1-cyano)ethylidene derivatives and reverse transformation

Conclusion 1,2-0-(1-Methoxycarbonyl)ethylidene derivatives of sugars formed during the methanolysis of 1,2-0-(1-cyano)ethylidene derivatives can be converted into the initial cyanoethylidene derivatives.
